Wow! Today is the day that Overcharged Egg featured my city! I am so honored. Thank you for showing it! It is true, I do love industrial detailing, and I am a huge railfan in my spare time, so I like to get the trains as proper as possible within the limits of the game. The fusing of the industrial buildings to make larger factories is something I have gotten into more recently, and once I started, I couldn't stop, hahaha. Once again, thank you so much for featuring my city. I love your channel, and admire your builds. It is truly an honor, good sir!

This city is really cute! It gives a cozy vibe, like this would be a happy place to live. The entire city is lovely, but my favorite parts are the the community on the small island with the huge cargo port, the big industrial area combined with the prison, and the downtown.

I love the long trains!! Metros downtown are nice also! I love good infrastructure. Cool to see how each person has their own way to build things. You would think they would be similar at some point but they are always so unique! Very big build too! Thanks for showing us OE🤩

Nice there to know you do city showcases for others I just return recently and test some experiment mechanics on vanilla, namely some experimental approach in city planning, I upload it as “Medicine for Al Zeeta” in paradox mod. Certainly welcoming you to study it. I also registered to the forms you mentioned for your ease of referencing.

I love city showcases! But you could consider changing graphics settings to high for showcases, because with no fog or reflection in water it looks artificial 😢

Actually you have the same GPU as me, and I play with high settings :D I only have motion blur and depth of field off

I can try tweak them but playing on highest settings while recording in 4K doesn't usually help the FPS unfortunately!

@@OVERCHARGEDEGG I understand, maybe you could lower the resolution? Personally I don't like 4k if graphics fidelity is low anyway 😀 then it's just poor graphics in 4k 😀

I live in a city with little to no industrial and very little rail infra. Just took a 3 week trip to Italy. What i'm realizing is missing from these builds is graffiti ... everywhere. Train yards and industry and bridges and retaining walls....graffiti everywhere would make this seem more established. Additionally, for this build specifically, it looked like every outer town/community was idylic without any run down areas at all?

I attempted to do some on the outlying areas. There is one town that is kinda hidden that is a bit run down. A lot of the rural area was zoned, so I didn't catch the buildings before they leveled up to 5, making it look nicer than I actually wanted. But yeah, I would like to show more rundown rural. Also, I lose patience with the grafitti decals sometimes, they can be finicky, lol. Otherwise I would have it plastered everywhere.
