Water crossing gone wrong

Seriously!! The whole thing looked like a circus side show. 🤡 everywhere. No person in command of the whole thing. And secondly, just because you buy a bunch of stuff for overlanding does not mean your vehicle is ready. Those were stock vehicles as far as suspensions and power plants are concerned. None of them looked ready for deep water at all. A tarp over the front does not replace a water tight power train.

No snorkel on any of the vics. the Tacoma unfortunately didn't have enough time to dry out, so it got towed back and replaced by another discovery. Engine was fine, but again not enough time to dry the circuits out. Also the first vic to cross was a manual transmission if anyone cares 👍

There is no safe way yo Cross that deep of a water body with a current with out a snorkel. They were lucky.

Horrible excuse for training. Utah is always under fire to close trails and here are some idiots suppling those clubs more ammunition to close more trails… There are so many things that went wrong in this video. If you are from this club, please do not return to Utah without proper training. My recommendation is to take one of Bill Burks training courses Very sad

No snorkels needed. the only truck that really took in water was the tacoma that flooded. Thanks for the footage, guys. we definitely had a blast! Hope we didn't get to load at camp that night 😅

I stopped filming for a couple minutes to see if they needed help. They all jumped in the water and pushed and lifted the truck. By the time I started filming again, they had already moved the truck to the right and had it hooked to a winch.
