they're literally harmless too, their teeth aren't strong enough to puncture human skin. Though I suppose they're mildly poisonous so don't eat them I guess?

@@suchnothing Pretty sure the reason they don't spook my brain is because they don't move like spiders and don't look like spiders. Their bodies are one big lump instead of a cephalathorax and bulbuous abdomen and they kind of bounce along instead of doing that creeping hydraulic crawl. Also, I think you mean venomous rather than poisonous, though daddy longlegs/harvestmen/opiliones are actually, despite the urban legends to the contrary, one of the few orders of spiders that aren't venomous. In any case, they are perfectly safe to eat, and would be even if the were venomous as venoms are usually not harmful if ingested unless you have an ulcer, a cut on the inside of your mouth, or other internal wound, in difference to poisons.
