Microwaving a knife does nothing. Putting metal in the microwave sometimes creates sparks but only if it has sharp edges seems to be the thing. A fork will do some sparks but a butter knife probably won't.

So I would argue that, because we haven’t created or destroyed any holes, a straw must have a mere single hole.

Sometimes I browse my local SPCA website just to look at the cute animals and there was a black and white cat called Mr. Meowgi for like 5 months, it took him so long to get adopted 😭 Another time, they had a dog named Mr. Butkus.
