@@corbinbrody1 I'm hoping combat is going to add more structures and related research, maybe there will be more terrain options too. There is no word yet as far as I'm aware if the combat will be more like satisfactory or like factorio.

glad someone saw it, so as i was filling oceans with soil and ran out of soil so i flew off to a different planet to collect more and as i returned, i forgot to patch that little spot haha and just realized it after posting the video.

the measuring idea with conveyors is a nice idea, didn't expect miss-measurement, i thought you had a mini globe on your desk to get the painting done, atleast i need to find a mini globe and a waterworld now :), wonderful idea btw

thats exactly what I did, with globe on my desk, but i should have just layed out all belts fro get go then start placing foundations ( i got some inaccuracies in this one)

yeah that’s very true. I made few mistakes too but stills thought to finish the build, but its still nagging me to do a perfect build on this haha

I set a short autosave interval so if I made a mistake I could load the previous one and would only lose a few minutes.

Nah, in absolute terms, if the Starting planet is the size of earth despite it being 2km in the Game, a ILS is the size of WHOLE COUNTRIES Edit: At least, the smaller countries

Use colored concrete and paint the surfaces. But it looks so good. The solar system view is phenomenally accurate.

thank you, i was actually thinking to use some colored foundations but that would leave the edges uncolored… if i paint to the edge it would expand the foundation

It's a pity that you can't dig out water holes though it seems you can have working pumps after you filled their pumping space. The terraforming is a subject I'm sure people have mentioned to the devs.

what process are you using to measure out the continents? do you have a guide image youre using or some projection?

I have globe right next to my laptop. im placing belts as meridians & parales and then replicate what i see from globe to game. But i should have layed out the entire globe first before placing foundation. Have to do bit of calculations since number of meridians & paralels in game dont match what it is in reality (I actually messed up this one so my attempt isnt perfect, it can be improved)

that would actually be very appropriate, they don’t deserve the place on this earth. I don’t wanna make it a political discussion but im pretty sure overwhelming majority of Russian people don’t support what their leaders are doing.
