I was happy to see you paint these four sketches. You demonstrated what you are always saying about the larger shapes and merging the shapes. Thanks

Thank you, Liron. Shadows sure add depth, but it is one of my weaknesses……Fear of the dark. So this adds a lot of “valuable” information.

Thanks...that was a very useful demonstration. It really made me realize that a lot of details are not necessary to convey the picture. Always learning new tips and techniques from your videos..

Great exercice, thanks for showing this another time! I would love to see the thumbnail with the cars on the parking lot developped into a larger painting.

Another valuable lesson for me to try more (as I am one of those detail oriented types), so this is very useful. I would like to see No. 4 done "properly" :). I really enjoyed this video. Nice haircut, by the way, and the new monitor! Thanks, Liron. :)

Great content, Liron! I'm in a binge right now, watching all your watercolor tutorials and I've noticed that in the ones from two or three years ago the paint beaded up on your palette whereas in the latest videos it's smoothly spreading in the mixing wells. Have you done anything special to get rid of the beading issue?
@LironYan3 жыл бұрын
Haha thank you so much for watching Marius! 😊🙏🏼 There actually is a fix for that (though sometimes I don't mind the beading on new palettes). You take a bit of steel wool, and (VERY GENTLY) rub it on the palette. You barely need to apply any pressure. Just move it over the mixing area gently. It will make the surface less smooth, thus leading to less beading (: Let me know it worked! Go a little at first and test it out with paint. And if more is necessary, do it a little more - gradual is key!

I was glad to see all 4 simplified but actually they don’t look like it. So beautiful and like magic the way all the shapes turn into something🍀
