Thanks for the update! 2021 RXT w/ 35 hours is in the shop for water spray around the carbon seal. I was told that the carbon seal was good but the o-rings might be leaking. Dealer is replacing the carbon seal and bellows assembly under warranty. I did a lot of research and took the top deck off and rode the ski so I could see the water spray. Do your research and come prepared when you visit the dealer, your time will pay off.

@justhavingfun I just ordered a 2022 rxt 2 weeks ago. I was back and forth. Seadoo or yamaha. I was originally going yamaha after my buddy said seadoo was junk. Then talked to someone else I know who has an 2 2018 rxp and said he's had no issues at all. Then talked to my friends dad that said kawasaki is the best lol. Ive read good and bad with all the brands. So I went with my gut and the ski I liked the best.

@@watercraftjournal That's awesome, I didn't know that. Thanks! Funny Sea Doo doesn't mention that at all anywhere on their website. I ordered two new 2022's, a RXPX 300 and RXTX 300, both in Triple Black, with Tech/Audio Package on both. I was considering cancelling the RXTX as I already have a 2021 RXTX in Midnight Purple, which I was planning on selling in the spring. I was second guessing coming out of the 2021 just for Color and the Tech (screen). But, now that you have confirmed the iDf for both, I'll for sure stick with it as I plan on this being used for my wife and oldest daughter. The iDF and Tech package is definitely worth the upgrade in my opinion, plus as much as I do like the Purple, the Triple Black pair will be much cooler in my opinion.

If you're shallow starting it, running up the beach, jumping it or otherwise misusing the machine - all stuff the owner's manual and all those obnoxious stickers plastered all over the ski say, the manufacturer shouldn't have to cover the cost, should they?

How long does a seal last and cost? I got 364hrs out of the Kawasaki 310 hull bearing & cost me around $350aud I think. Got no issues with the manual reverse because its less to go wrong.
@watercraftjournal3 жыл бұрын
That's dependent upon how you maintain and operate your Sea-Doo. Many fail to operate it properly and see early failure. With these changes, failures are declined dramatically.
