I believe this is the new place where all the new operations are going to be, for example when they release a new operation, everything in the current armory will be replaced with new skins/knives and a new case as the new items get added in season 2. And i think this is a great concept/mechanic, really looking forward new innovations in the future.

Because they deleted the nade strat it seems like they want these items to be limited, That patch makes it seem like they dont want the armoury to be oversaturated, I hope everything here isnt re-released at least for a year or two as an investor and I hope the armory closes down around the time of the deagle.

I don't think the armory will disappear at some point. Remember, Belgium made loot boxes illegal, so they can't make money off crates in Belgium, and other countries may follow suit eventually. Loot boxes are basically gambling and countries usually regulate gambling pretty heavily. The only reason why most games have slipped under the radar is because gaming is a relatively new hobby. Hardly any politicians play video games so they know nothing about the subject. This won't always be the case though. The armory is a way for Valve to still finance the game even if loot boxes get banned worldwide, so they will keep it in.

The heat treated deagle will be practically worthless. From the looks its just a ugly skin without the blue pattern. The only thing which keeps the price of other ugly skins high is the possibility to use them for tradeups, but the deagle can not be used for that.

Might be bad for the skins economy, but a lot of the skins added don't really seem to be getting that much praise (other than some pinks and reds which will always cost more due to drop rate) Hope they do rotate them seasonally though, cuz I'm stockpiling the cases rn lol.

if they rotate all the collections and maybe add a new case every 100 days (limited item time span), that would be really good. the pass is just a little too expensive. if it would be 10€ then it would make the armory pass a battle pass effectively which is good for the game since you get rewarded for playing. it would also stabilize skin prices since the chinese market fucked us super hard and made everything 3x-4x more expensive than it should.

I think the operation progress tab is something they just forgot to change. The trading cards you get are still CS:GO themed, so I don't think it's too far fetched that they just forgot or don't feel a need to change the operations progress tab in steam. I really hope fmpone finishes Cache soon, cuz I feel like they're waiting for Cache before they roll out whatever the next big update is.
