Thanks a lot! I also found it surprising how powerful and effective a little drawing pencil can be. It is really versatile and I love it. It is really my drawing medium of choice by far. There is also pretty much no clean up and prep time as well.

That is really cool! It is amazing how many products that are not meant for art or traditional drawing that actually work really well for it. Thanks for sharing!

My method of doing these is that I usually look at photo references online and get an idea of what type of scene I want to make. When I get to the drawing part, I usually don't have the reference anymore. I usually just draw it from memory. This has taken me a very long time to do and have had numerous failed attempts at it. It just takes time and practice. But honestly, drawing from reference is probably the best way to do it. There is always something I miss when I draw from memory.

Hi Tyler, . I use a cheap set of makeup brushes when I sketch. The small ones are not bad for blending and the large powder brush is great for cleaning eraser residue.

Haha! I would really like to start selling off some of my work. Gives everyone who likes my work a chance to have an original. I hope it turns out well. But like anything, it takes time. This go around might be a bust but the next time I try might be a success. It is just about timing. Thanks for the continued support! Always appreciated :)

Great work! Have you tried adding more light while filming and/or using reflectors so that way, it'll look much brighter?

Hi Tyler, very nice!! And well shot video that shows close detail of what you're doing. Very helpful. Good luck selling it!! Hey, if you put that drawing you did on ebay of the big tree with the door in it I would definitely bid on it. :o) Hint , Hint!!!

Most of my inspiration now comes from my viewers. I have been getting such awesome feedback lately and it has just kept me in a good mood haha.

Gosh a B grade artist would be way better than even my skills could comprehend. I have been doing art for the majority of my life. I have been drawing since I was in middle school. So I have been drawing for about 9 or 10 years already. But I started to practice regularly around 4 years ago. 3 years ago is when I started my youtube channel. and have kept content up for that. It is not an easy task by any means to be come an "expert" artist. I don't expect myself to get to that level until my 40s

A lot of the brightness has to do with the pencils themselves. The darker colors tend to have a bit of gloss to them which reflects into the camera that will make them look lighter. There isn't too much I can do about this at the moment. There are lighting kits I can get that should help to fix it. I always tried to use best judgement for shading. I am still over 18 years away from my 40s and I have so much left to learn. I am happy with where I am but my glass isn't even half full yet.

I am going to try and do more real time stuff. They are actually a lot easier to edit so it helps me out quite a lot as well. I am probably going to do another real time drawing series at some point as well.

Hi, did you draw this based on your imagination? Or did you use some photos to help you? I tried to draw waterfall like this one, but I just can't get the waterfall image in my mind without referring to a photo.

Need more real time. You are so good but we need you to go slower and sometimes I don't know where to start and most of yours are started before you show us your work. I've learned so much from you THX!

how much talent and practice do you think go towards being a good artist...a "B" grade and above? In percentages,if at all possible.

I think it is the lighting and my camera. The camera that I have is getting old and outdated. I think there might also be a conflict between my actual lighting and what my camera actually has settings for. It will forever remain a mystery haha.

Seems like I am getting more and more comments asking If I sell my art haha. Well this is good. I hardly ever sell them though. I probably should start though lol. I tried to sell this one on ebay but nobody bid on it. Which is fine. I get more out of teaching my craft rather than selling it.

Is it just me or do most of your videos look like they have a "warn" filter on them? I could be the type of lighting you have where you work.
