It is really no problem at all. I just enjoy sharing what I know with everyone. I know that attending classes is expensive and can be hard to do. That is the problem I had. So I took it upon myself to learn and just figured I would share my findings with everyone else haha. It seems to have worked out pretty well thus far. I really enjoy it as well. Thanks a lot for the comment!

Thank you for sharing your ability to help other people draw better. I much prefer real time videos such as the above to those that are sped up. I can sit for hours drawing (just learning, but addicted). I have subscribed and will be following your other tutorials, Thanks again.

I'm perfectly fine with tutorials that run 30-60 minutes! I watch a lot of painting and drawing videos that run in real time specifically to learn. I really appreciate the time you're taking to do this in real time! I just found you so I hope as I continue to go through your videos I find more! :)

Thank you so much for this. A few weeks ago, I decided to start drawing. I use to be ok as a teenager, but then just stopped. Anyway, I have recently found that I had a hidden talent for years and never knew it until a few weeks ago and now I am absolutely loving it. I particularly love drawing nature/landscape pictures, and your videos are fabulous! They are helping me out with stuff I am finding difficult (clouds, waves etc), so thanks heaps dude :)

OMG!!! I have been finding sooo many people that have just started drawing after not touching any art supplies for many years. I haven't touched a pencil in 20 years for drawing. Theses videos are so amazing.

I used to do a lot of pen drawings myself. It is a good practice because you have to learn to be more confident in your line work. No going back when you make a mistake there haha. It is hard to really give out good solid tips because everyone learns so differently. You just sort of have to take it one step at a time and draw what interests you. I have 3 real time drawing series on my channel now and they might help as well to get you started.

i love drawing manga, but i alwaYS STUCK to characters, i was always afraid to draw landscapes cause i didn't know what i was doing, i bought a large sketchbook for landscapes but i didn't even open it, but i watched your video and it was actually easy, just following the lines, and my sketch turned out amazing, thanks for boosting my confidence in landscapes, i'm definitely going to watch the rest of your series and i'm not afraid of landscapes anymore ^^ i'm going to work on them from now on

I know the feeling. I will often say that starting a drawing is the hardest part. placement of objects can be quite important and if that is off, then the entire piece from then forth is off. This is why sketching a lot really helps haha.

haha well, I have never really tried to experiment like that to see if i get different results. I have also never took into consideration if I had done anything like that without even realizing it. Everyone is a little bit different when it comes to focusing on something. I know my hand will start to become a bit shaky when I start to rush a drawing because I am anxious to see how it turns out.

@JustusLynetta12 жыл бұрын
Yeah, i see where you're coming from. Usually the largest place it helps me out is when i'm not sure what to do first or how to do something, it would be on the tip of my tongue but i just need one little push to break open the barrier
@TylersArtShack11 жыл бұрын
There isn't a whole lot I can do about that. The sketch although is very important is only temporary. It is a placeholder for where everything will eventually be placed. As far as not being able to see it, I can see it just fine. Try and set the video to full screen. If that doesn't work, then the monitor you are using might have a low contrast ratio or low brightness.
@TylersArtShack12 жыл бұрын
haha It is really no trouble at all! Happy to do it! And it would be cool to give private lessons. Maybe someday.
@TylersArtShack12 жыл бұрын
That is really cool! It does take a bit of time and practice and try and keep yourself motivated to continue. That is the biggest part. And just enjoy the hobby for what it is. Take it day by day drawing by drawing and you will slowly get better. You may not see it at first but keep a drawing as a reference and then compare to it 6 months later and you will see how much you improve. Check out my first upload on the channel and compare that to what I do now. It is amazing how much you can improve

You use an eraser at the 1:24 mark. Can you tell me what kind of eraser that is, and who makes it. I have all kinds of erasers, but this one looks thinner, in order to erase finer lines. I am looking for a pen style with a fine point. Thanks so much - love your tutorials.

I'm looking forward to eventually getting to this video and see whatever of my own twist I can put on this, im still working on the first mountain video and other projects that I wish to complete. Is it odd that i only actually get my brain working properly enough to draw "kinda" well is when i'm a little high on sugar? Like a tic tac here and there when i feel like my hand is shaking or something, You should try it out and see if it actually does change anything. I'm rambling. Yeah. Okay. Bye.

Oh, give me a break. You are quite rude about this comment. You didn't even make it in 5 minutes to where I began to explain the process. I have only drawn in a few sketch lines as well. If you are having trouble following a few outlines without explanation, you may need to start at a lower level.

Hi. I enjoyed your drawing, but for me you were talking to much and not getting on with the drawing, you seem to be just tip tapping about. After about seven minutes you had only drawn a few lines. You said yourself drawing ant talking isn´t easy, so why not keep it to a minimum. I was falling a sleap watching you. Sorry.
