I know im a little late but I just started waterless and rinseless washing about 2 months ago. I use 3 products from Mckee's 37 1. Waterless wash n go concentrate 2. Rinseless Wash and Wax also a concentrate 3. N-914. All 3 work great they also can be diluted with distilled water and make 3 to 5 different products like detail spray and spray on wax, claybar lubricant give them a try. I also use 2 to 10 towels depending on the dirt on the car for the wash or dirt removal, and 1 or 2 separate plush towels for the buffing.

Very good demonstration of how to correctly use the Waterless Wash Waxes. I just tried this week the Meguiars Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax. I studied the technique , and my car's paint was very nicely cleaned & waxed when all finished, I love this product as I'm not a fan of getting out the hose, buckets & all the stuff needed for a water wash anymore, I'm lazy, LOL. I'm a big fan of your videos, you do a great job, making all details very clear. I'm a bit surprised you did not include the Meguiar's Waterless Wash & Wax, it's a great product. Thanks,

Here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIHCc41jn791pLs Of course I only recommend waterless and/or rinseless washes when access to water is restricted or limited. I’m glad you taught me this time saving method. You never turned the towel and sprayed the entire hood and wiped with just 1 section of towel. That will save me 45 minutes at least 🙏🙏

This technique is the equivalent of a Window Washer using a squeegee on a window, except the micro-fiber towel acts as the squeegee. I tried this technique to get dirt of my car that had built up for a few days and after it rained. It works very well as long as you have the proper towels. There are various thicknesses to these micro-fiber towels, use the "thicker" one for the best results. :)

My routine/advice: Rinse first if necessary or possible and use a portable pressure foam to pressurise and apply the Waterless wash product. The foam lifts dirt and moisturises the finish at the same time. Do half the car first from top to bottom or work in smaller sections. Leave the foam for a moment (not in direct sunlight) then wipe in 1 direction. Job done!

A waterless wash should ONLY be used as a last resort when no access to water is possible (apartment dweller, living in an area with water bans or heavy water restrictions, etc). And only to be used on light to moderate levels of dirt. You have to use common sense. Too dirty, and you'll be scratching and swirling the paint. A better alternative to a waterless wash is a rinseless wash. Much safer. Tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIHCc41jn791pLs But the best method is always the traditional way using buckets, water and wash mitts. Hi Pan! Is P&S BeadMaker considered a waterless car wash product? What's the difference between a waterless car wash product and a quick detailer?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
No. Bead Maker is a paint sealant. Not meant to clean or wash car. A waterless wash has more lubricants and other components (surfactants, emulsifiers, etc) that make it clean the surface. A quick detailer is meant more for touch-ups like fingerprint smudges, or removing a light layer of dust, and boosting gloss and slickness. QDs aren't meant to really clean. Again though, a waterless wash is only an alternative to a proper car wash using water and mitts and buckets. Only use a waterless wash if you have ZERO access to water, and use your common sense to not use a waterless wash on a super dirty car as you'll be scratching the paint. Here's the proper way to wash a vehicle: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXzSm2igZ6qma7c

A waterless wash should only be used as an alternative when access to water is prohibited or restricted. If you have access to free flowing water, ALWAYS use the traditional wash method with water and shampoo. Common sense: even if the waterless product is good and has lubrication, you're still wiping dirt on a semi-dry surface, so yes over time, you will likely see swirls and scratches start to form. If the car isn't too dirty, and you want a better alternative to a waterless wash, without the need of a garden hose, I would recommend the rinseless wash method, which I have a tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIHCc41jn791pLs

Tip. If you buy a new car, use a waterless car wash only from day one for normal traffic grime. I bought a new car four years ago and only washed it twice with a hose and a bucket of suds. After four years of using a waterless car wash I cannot see any scratch's on the paint work even under a bright light. So if you buy a new car use waterless car wash only.

A waterless wash isn't the safest method to clean a car. This should only be a last-ditch effort if no water is accessible to wash your car. And should only be used on lightly soiled vehicles. If the vehicle is super dirty, this will scratch the paintwork. The best method is a proper traditional car wash as shown in my popular tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXzSm2igZ6qma7c And the second safest method, if you have no access to water, is a rinseless car wash, as shown in my tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmabiminh8lmhbc

How do you recommend doing this if you want to use an iron decon product along with the waterless wash?
@PanTheOrganizer4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't recommend doing all those steps. If you are to do more serious detailing, nothing replaces a true two bucket wash. A waterless car wash should only be performed in extreme cases where access to water is prohibited or impossible.

Can this waterless products and techniques be used on a car that has been done paint correction and ceramic coat?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
You could, but keep in mind I would only recommend a waterless wash method as a LAST RESORT type option, only if you have ZERO access to water, as it can potentially scratch and mar the paint. The best is always to use a traditional car wash method, using water, buckets and wash mitt. If you don't have access to a pressure washer or garden hose, but can at least fill a bucket with water, the next best option is a rinseless wash method. See my tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmabiminh8lmhbc

@Gotallofthem17 жыл бұрын
Pan, you have other guys here who when after making a pass/swipe will switch to a new side of the towel. Yet in this video you did "half" the hood with the "Same side" of the towel? Does this not Scratch the paint or at least have a higher probability of scratching the paint, considering after the first swipe, the towel now has dirt/dust in it and you are using that same soiled side to make another swipe? Thanks
@PanTheOrganizer7 жыл бұрын
+Gotallofthem1 Ideally yes you'd do one swipe and change sides. Or use ONR and the red sponge as a great quicker alternative.

Hey pan, quick question......do you think it would be safer to use a waterless wash product with a microfiber towel soaked in ONR solution (I keep a bucket with onr solution along with microfiber towels) and use waterless wash as normal just with a microfiber soaked in onr as I feel it may be safer to do that as opposed to just spraying waterless wash with a dry microfiber towel. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated
@PanTheOrganizer5 жыл бұрын
Waterless is the worse option compared to rinseless. ONR is a rinseless wash and is superior in cleaning compared to waterless. Keep in mind, both these methods are only ALTERNATIVES when water isn't readily available. If you have access to free flowing water, ALWAYS use that method instead. If you can't use water, then try the rinseless wash method as I demonstrate in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIHCc41jn791pLs
@Sean-ij3mi5 жыл бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizer hi pan What I was asking is if I had a microfiber towel soaked in onr solution and used that towel in conjunction with the waterless wash sprayed on car if that would be safer than just using the waterless wash with a dry microfiber towel

Best waterless wash product over Bead Maker? Reapply Bead Maker after waterless wash?
@PanTheOrganizer3 жыл бұрын
My favourite cleaning method is of course standard two wash bucket system with water. In second place if you can't use free flowing water, would be a rinseless wash, which is safer compared to a waterless wash. I can only recommend a waterless wash on lightly soiled cars and ONLY if access to water is not permitted or there are heavy water restrictions where you live. The best waterless system is the one I reviewed here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6i8fZZ9hphqn7M

That car wasn't really dirty! 😊
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
If the car is too dirty , never do a waterless wash. You’d scratch the living hell out of the paint. This is only a last resort alternative when you have zero access to water. The best and safest method to wash a car will always be the classic method with water, buckets and wash mitts. See my car wash tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXzSm2igZ6qma7c

Can you use this for example as a touch up if you find a bird dropping and just want to remove that? Thank you.
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
Yes, you would spray this or a quick detailer, and use a plush gentle microfiber towel and gently wipe. Ideally though, you would wash the car with the traditional wash method. A waterless wash is only a last resort method of washing a car, when no water is accessible.

Awesome video tutorial! One question that maybe someone already asked! How about the tires and wheels that’s get way to dirty! Do you use the same technique?
@thinkforyourself56723 жыл бұрын
You can but it's going to trash your microfibers. I use whatever cleaner I'm using at the time with a wheel brush but also use a spray bottle with water in It . I'll agitate, spray with water and repeat the process until the filthy black water is pretty much gone. Then hit it with towels. Try to use old one's for the tires. I have dedicated microfibers just for my tires and rims. They will get stained and trashed pretty quickly.
@TheBaz5686 жыл бұрын
Waterless washes are awesome, especially in the winter where you dont want to bring out the bucket, pressure washer etc because its cold and the car gets dirty quickly on the road. The only problem is that you ruin your microfiber towels.

Hard to say as nobody uses the same amount or has the same technique. A good starting point would be 5 or 6 towels.
