i love this stitch. You should design some projects with it. I'm excited to try this stitch out. I bet this would be nice as a dishcloth or hotpad.

That's a great idea!

I love textured stitches. Could you design some more dishcloths without a border? Your channel is one of my favorites. My boyfriend and I both love listening to your stuff (he is blind too), and we both think you do a wonderful job being descriptive in your videos. :)

I’ve used this pattern for several years except I normally don’t do a back and forth blanket. I make a wattle stitch C2C
@AmandaCrochets Жыл бұрын
Oh, I had no idea you can do a C2C with the wattle stitch. How fun!

@@AmandaCrochets I found the pattern on KZbin a few years ago and I make it every time with the exception of a couple of times. It’s a very easy pattern.

Thanks for another easy to follow video! I wonder if this would be too heavy for a bed blanket, any advice? Thanks
@romystumpy1197 Жыл бұрын
I think it depends on the fibre content of the yarn,acrylic and any other synthetic will be lighter than natural fibres like cotton or wool.
@Pakrs61 Жыл бұрын
@romystumpy1197 Thank you for your reply, you helped alot!
@AmandaCrochets Жыл бұрын
I agree, it would definitely depend on the type of yarn you use. You could also use a bigger hook to make it a little more airy.
@Pakrs61 Жыл бұрын
@@AmandaCrochets I'll play around with different hook sizes, great suggestion, I'll be using acrylic yarn so I'll start with a 6 and go from there, Thank you so much for helpful suggestions!

Any thoughts on using a variegated yarn?
@AmandaCrochets Жыл бұрын
Variegated yarns are very fun to use! However, depending on what stitch you use, the stitch might be hard to see with all the colors. I highly suggest creating a sample swatch with the variegated yarn and stitch of your choice before committing to a bigger project.

@@maureensciandra3903 got it! I haven’t tried a variegated yarn with this stitch, mainly because I don’t have any at the moment 😂

If i use a jumbo (7) yarn how much would i get for a baby blamket
@AmandaCrochetsАй бұрын
It would depend on how big you make the baby blanket and how many yards are in each skein.
