Hi guy! Thanks for your great videos as always. What a super rig you have with its awsome D-box... It makes me dream 😛 But I have a question., witch pedals you ever used, do you prefer? Good continuation for your channel 😉

great video again as always barry. thank you. just something i noticed when you show the pedals and bits in the beginning, because it’s mostly all black and your t shirt is black too it’s a bit hard to see the parts when your showing them to the main camera. perhaps just something to consider for future videos. honest video, honest channel, probably one in a couple that i have found in the many years of youtube. so great, hope your doing good barry.

That springs used in the clutch and in the gas pedal tend to break to easy in a short cycle of use, is the only weakness that i saw in this pedals. The rest is top notch. Great review.
@giupy866 жыл бұрын
Sergio Baquero I must disagree with you. I'm one of the Driving Revolution racing team driver and one of the beta testers. I have been using these pedals extensively for 3 years now for the development process and they haven' t had a single issue. Springs are still in a perfect shape and very consistent. They' re built to last.

Have you tried putting 2 springs with a small rubber spacer in between each spring? It might give a better uniformed tactile feeling because it looks a bit wibbly wobbly with all of those spacers. You have probably already done it by now. I love watching your reviews because you take your time and try to portray to a lot of people, what it actually feels like to own a really good set of pedals that are made with the type of quality that a formula one driver would have in his race car. If you really have a look at all of the detail work in each part, that would have taken hours just to do a couple of pieces. You can also adjust them to nearly any position that your heart desires - what else do you want? Top grade product and not complicated! I will take 5 - in my dreams :-(

@simracinggarage30266 жыл бұрын
It's close between the HE and PRX-SE. With the PRX being my favorite for now. Doesn't mean you will feel the same way though. We all feel things a bit differently from each other it seems.

Barry quick question again what is your every day use paddles do you think they are worth the price or should I go with hydraulics racewerk.com/collections/racewerk-s1-pedal-systems/products/racewerk-simracing-pedals
@simracinggarage30264 жыл бұрын
My current daily use are the Waves in this video. Can't say if they are worth it. It's all relative. Some will think they are too much, some will not. I have had a chance to test the racewerks pedals. So can't comment on them.

Another great video. One thing. Maybe choose a different colour tee shirt when using a black coloured item as makes it difficult to see detail when viewed on a small screen like a phone. Best reviewer on KZbin anyway. Keep up the good work.
@AttilaTheHun3333336 жыл бұрын
KWAKA I don’t get why another color of his shirt would give you more detail on items. Edit: Ah I see, you mean more contrast in these shots for example I guess... 8:00

Jack‘s Wasted Life . Yeah. ..not a real problem. Just clashed with the black anodised pedals.

I have been watching your videos for a while because they are thorough. As far as pedals go, can you name a few that you keep coming back to or feel the most comfortable using more often?
@chillil3216 жыл бұрын
Actually never mind. I read some of the other comments and I see that you said at this price point they are kind of similar and left up to personal preference.
@enriqueaaron19026 жыл бұрын
Great review Barry as usual, you are the best. What do you think about those pedals compared with HPP PRX-SE and the Heusinkveld Ultimate ?
@simracinggarage30266 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I mentioned this during the driving segment. I don't think the Impetus is doing anything better than the HE's or the PRX-SE's. But when you get to this price point on pedal sets, they all perform very nicely. They do have slightly different feels, but not something that would keep you from being fast and consistent between them. It would come down to personal preference I think.

Barry, what pedals do you use on your own time? It's the next upgrade on my list, and I can't decide if going for a hydraulic set would be worth it over a solid LC kit. I've seen your review a hydraulic kit, but I'm not sure if they transitioned into your rig ever. Cheers

great reviews as usual. great looking pedals but to my humble opinion the price tag is way too high. Good old F1 cst pedals are pretty much built the same way but less fancy maybe. At that price i d be looking at HE OR HPP. The HE are very customisable , built like a tank and look bad ass

im using a simetik rig and everything else is by fanatic and im enjoying the hell out of it. then i look at your rig. Holy crap, a sim racers dream. I think my next upgrade is going to be a DD wheel. I have my eye on the podium series. Im liking the inverted pedals but im wondering how much of a difference the set you reviewed is going to make over the v3's. Im curious to see what you think of them.
