That is a great idea, I'll have to try this myself. Cotton, petroleum jelly, jute, sisal, candles, a metal tin for making char cloth, some wooden BBQ skewers, matches, a lighter, etc.. There's lots to choose from. My goal is to find a way to make a flint and steel work using dollar store items. My local store has a tool section with cheap hammers and files that I think might spark with a flint, and the craft section sometimes has polished rocks that look like chert that might give a decent edge if shattered. This will be fun. Thanks for sharing Dean.

thanks mate, I did think about doing that but once treated they do not fit in the box as well (as they become hard and non-flexible)

What no guitar picks! I would swap out the jute for a little mini raw wax jute roll. Swap out the cotton for a tampon or 2 😂😂😂 a alcohol pad. Durex for water collection 😂 2 x bandaid's. Mini superglue. Magic candle. I would swap out the bic for the mini zippo. We have crap dollar stores here. The USA has huge stores with huge range for budget prices. Tinder tabs good idea.
