They write good music and their slow songs are as good as the fast if not better. The musicianship is always top notch.

He has some unique guitars including 7 string. I have not counted the frets but the neck seems longer than 24 frets. I have two amps with acoustic channels that sound pretty clean. He will have access to custom built pedals for any sound he wishes and even a Dumble. This performance is shere perfection from superb musicians and Suzannah's voice is pure perfection. What do we have in the West to compare?

Machiya has many guitars. Here a Sago guitar, it's a 33 "scale baritone with 29 frets tuned BEADF # B, if you capo at the 5th fret it becomes a 25.5" scale guitar in standard E tuning

I think that acoustic sound might come from a BOSS-GT1, (which Machiya himself used to advertise) or something similar. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nImZiJJmbc2Vg7M That model is still quite popular here in south america.

Wagakki's songs sound new and unique to us, the Japanese, as well. But we are familiar with the sounds of the instruments and some of the melodic patterns. I see you enjoy the song so much. I wish I was telepathic and could feel how you feel when you listen to the song. I wish I could hear it fresh the way you might hear it as someone with different musical traditions. Thanks for a very nice reaction.

Great thoughts. The desire for empathy and to stand in another's shoes is part of what makes us human. I'm glad you shared that deep thought. The best we can do is imagine and maybe that's good enough. 🙏
Graph Tech ghost system adds Piezo Saddles to just about any style guitar bridge saddles. To enhance further add a HOTONE: OMNI AC Acoustic Simulator or a Boss AC-3.

I used to have an acoustic emulator pedal many many years ago, and have seen settings on digital effects boards for such a thing. Back then the results weren't great if you were looking for *realistic* acoustic sound, but it did kinda give an interesting tone. He could also have a piezo pickup on there as well.

There are plenty of hybrid guitars with a transducer under the bridge, which gives more of an acoustic guitar tone.
