Asshole deserved it, and there saying stuff like “you just don’t do it to Waylon blah blah” you don’t do shit like that to anyone. One persons time is not more important then another’s, especially when there’s a lot of people sitting and waiting to hear what you have to say.

I agree But this was 1998 and this was Dr Laura though So I do understand now I get Him I was very Stupid when I was a boy He is a Superstar on the level or above his co band members of the Highway Men Kris Kristoferson Willie Nelson or The one who I think May have surpassed him in Greatness Johnny Cash Dr Laura did not active more greatness tell the Photos of her Nude In those photos you can see that 1970 female grooming practices were different then today

@@norahjaneeast5450 Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson are definitely more famous than Waylon Jennings. Kristofferson was big for a short time but overall not quite the same level of fame as Jennings. Dr Laura was realy big at that time and Jennings star had long since faded.

Dr. Laura was a flash in the pan. Yes, a lot of people were talking about her back then because she was controversial, but she had no substance and her fame has plummeted to almost nothing, She has a show on Satellite radio that hardly anyone listens to and you hear very little about her these days. Waylon on the other hand was always a legend. He was a legend back then and today, all these years after his death, he's still a legend. Glad he walked out and didn't accept the disrespectful way he was treated.

There's a lot of factors to consider -- Waylon had health problems at that time and died a few years later, he once had a cocaine addiction which messes up the mind -- he was likely in no shape to do an interview anyway. And his walking off gave Snyder and Waylon more publicity than they would have had otherwise! In show business, when a program gets complaints, it means one thing -- people are watching!

Used to watch snyder a little and usually enjoyed it, mainly because he did bring on some folks that were wayyyy the hell off center. Then he partnered up with that sex therapist/author what's her name and that along with a few other things blew the show. Tanned, freeze-dried hair, uber- money-cool California smartass that could only really exist at night in air conditioned studio vaults. Btw. Snorted coke with Waylon once at a truck stop down at the 144 on I55 in mississippi, since burned down. Not Tom, me. Both were cool in their own way, just from different space/time continuums.

This is one of the funniest comments sections I've ever seen to be honest lol. I dig Waylon's music, I dig Tom Snyder's brand of relaxed conversing, so making this gigantic dogfight about Waylon getting pissed about television doing as television does and not always running to schedule is hysterical to me. Not to mention that you're pitting two men in the twilight of their careers against one another like there's a bloodsport to be won. How many of these people are just saying this because the internet demands that they irrationally hate the "adversary" of their hero?
