I’ve had a tenacious for years and trust me when I say, they break in really nice. That stiffness you feel opening it up will go away. Mine is damn near fall shut. It flys open no matter how you open it. Carry it. Use it. You’ll like it.

Also worth mentioning for the Tenacious design. The edge comes right up to the handle, this makes the cutting edge longer than the Shaman or PM2. Also, the handle has a choke-up position which puts your hand just behind the edge maximizing control.

I bought two Spyderco Tenacious lightweight knives in case one gets lost/stolen/breaks. I have several varieties of Spyderco knives and realized that I needed the Tenacious to complete my Spyderco collection.

I've owned 3 versions of the Tenacious, and this version is by FAR the best available. I'd prefer a larger lanyard hole on it, but other than that, it's an elevated "beater" knife and definitely a keeper! :-)

Always liked the look of the Tenacious but the 8cr13mov version didn’t trip my trigger. When the S35vn version came out I ordered one. After a 3 month wait finally got it. Not sure it was worth $98 but love the blue scales, blade and enjoy Spyderco’s. Overall pretty decent knife. Thanks for sharing Wayne!

The tenacious is a great knife. It was one of the first I got when I came back to collecting. It lives in my center console now as my dedicated car knife. Great review Wayne 👍

The Tenacious G10 was my first Spyderco 10 years ago - put that knife through the ringer and still going strong , its now my outside garage knife. I own 8 other Spydercos, Love my Smock for flipping and out on the town knife, Have Native 5 in REX45 and its the sharpest knife out of the box, Love my Manix 2 in SPY27 (2nd Fave), Have stretch K390 and I like it but its the worst out of the box edge , just bought 2 weeks ago and it wont cut paper without ripping the paper... Anyway, I just picked up a new Tenacious in S35VN for $75 as I liked my original Tenacious so much - Never understood why the Tenacious doesn't get more love - Ive had the PM2 in Crucarta and a PM3 and disliked both of those and sold both... Just my thoughts - good video !

They do make good knives and they have a good warrenty. And the price comes from quality control and some are made in usa
