I’ve been pouring over the internet for years and I can tell you from a point of wisdom that there are countless mixers, masterers and ditherers that have infinite knowledge of recording but there are very few teachers. Yooooo Wavy Wayne, Here's another tip. If I'm looking for frequencies that I don't like, I use subtractive-EQ on the stock 7-Band EQ and press CTRL - Shift To Invert A Band Of EQ while sweeping it across the spectrum to give clearer idea of what frequencies I don't like. Then I pull out about 2 or 3 DB to give me that clean vocal. Just adding to the frequency sweep that I saw on the 11:40 mark. Blessings

The piece on the parallel compression technique is exactly what I was looking for. I have guitar pedals that have wet/dry mix - it was a ‘duh’ moment when you showed that for compression on a DAW. The two-track method to get there - loved it! You just got a new sub 🤘🏻❤️✌🏻
