Mark is a deceptively quick for a big guy. It's amazing to see players develop their own styles of chasing/evading. Frank looks like a predator hunting his prey when he goes after someone, and mark constantly makes the evader think they can catch up to him.

I gotta say, I didn't think much of Mark at the beginning, but he has proven himself to be one of the best athletes. Idk what it is about him, but he always manages to get the evasion or the tag.

@@WorldChaseTag I think he has precise movements. He pulled off 2 dives in his chase that were full extension but still was continuing the chase immediately after. Even his full commit moves leave him with enough in the tank to reset and hunt.

Loving APK Grey games just from the taunts and friendly atmosphere! They have a very friendly kind of style to their play and all of them just have such great sportsmanship on top of their skill. They know how to loose and still be a good sport not naming previous competitive rivalling teams :) Also loved the technique Ethan used in chase 8 and again in chase 14 when at the tilted cube, repacking over it and then flipping down makes it look stylish as well as fast, love it!

Yeah, really nice and effective move, even without any hesitation on your part he got on your toes with little distance between the both of you. He didn't manage to get that much acceleration from his right hand but the technique could really work to flush out the tilted cube quickly while forcing the opp to go under the mountain Again amazing perf on this match Mark !

really great match. I loved the line up change for APK grey to give Mark more time to recover and to build up a lead but I think the weaker on court decision making for the rest of grey hurt them there. Good on SoFlow for not giving up after being down 3

Ahh crap. The graphics are so fiddly to create. Hopefully one day we'll be able to get a proper graphics package. We use After Effects but ideally we need a proper TV graphics system.

I think chase ten might just have been one of if not the best evasion round of the tournament so far. no really big moves and simple jukes, but the speed and consistent near misses made that hole match extremely nail-biting. Jonathan did fantastically agents frank

Much closer match than I expected going in - SoFlo really sold out and showed a lot of heart here, really great to see them hit another gear. Jonathan's evasion route (against "Fank" of all chasers 😉) was really interesting as well. Goes without saying that Mark continued to be an absolute beast here as well, two hat tricks in a single group is ridiculous 😤

This entire group D just has so many eye-catching individuals that stand out for their unique styles. Most of them in APEX and APK Grey. Mark the bold, the guy who's "more about style" Ethan (4:21 Just look at that smooth flip) , Frank the rabbit, they just kick @ss in their own ways and I love it. But Mark, that man, he just oozes technique and knowing his own physical strengths and limits just making. It. Work. *Outstanding*

He's not the fastest, but I could imagine chasing him is a frustrating affair ("I'm faster than him, why can't I get close?"), and his evading style is crucial for stamina conservation. Hmmm... I'm happy for APK, but you gotta have faith in your team. I love Mark (DadBod) Bowles, but I'm hear to see the team spirit of a team sport. Not one dude do nearly 50% of the races--and then get pulled into sudden death while there's a completely fresh player on the bench. Believe in the team you brought to the game! Mark is insane bro. Also don't know who Fank is but Frank was a heat seeker today. Jonathon for SoFlo was also quite good, seemed comfortable the second his turn came up. Everyone seemed really comfortable today. The only one I'm a little confused about is Ethan, soooo fast but his turns are not eye pleasing... to be super nice. Not sure what's happening there but if he can fix how he turns on the corners, he'd be a force to be reckoned with. Because that speed on straight runs is killer, just needs to tune how he hits corners to be a bit more fluid and rounded as an evader. Maybe bend his knees? I'd have to really analyse how he moves to know for sure.

Agree. Correct me if I'm wrong, but she's the first woman I think I've seen in WCT or WCT USA. But she didn't have big results in the first few matches and it felt like they just kind of took her out of the rotation which doesn't seem very fair- unless there is indeed an injury involved.
