True Dat. It's like life and death. Would you like to know for a year or two, things are thermal? Or wake up one day and find your loved one 'gone'? Morbid, I know but it's soon Halloween, and Autumn . I was also thinking about how it's been a tough time, as the Oakland Athletics, or A's lost their team and that it's also been 20 years since Montreal lost it's Baseball team. It happened with WCW and it happened to the Montreal Expos (MLB -Baseball) for the younger, or non- sport fan. We knew that WCW was in trouble but Easy E. said he was working on buying. My memories are a but fuzzy. But I remember Chris Jericho, saying, at that low price, he would have bought the company! I'll spare you guys the Baseball specifics, besides saying. We knew it was coming for years and just kept going, hoping a local investor would buy the team but it never happened and we just had a final year, knowing it was the LAST ONE. I guess it sucks either way and our last season was 2004, where WCW, was gone, in March of 2001, a week before WRESTLEMANIA! I remember the Nght of the last Nitro and almost choking on my lit joint, just as I sat down to watch Raw and Tape Nitro for after. What a sight, with Vince doing the intro and poor people like me, who had no computer or any Friendos watching Wrestling. Like any great loss, comes memories, feelings and emotions. I guess we go through the stages of grief and then keep whatever we lost, Alive through memories, some Good, some bad and some, with Regret! Take care, my WCW friends and fanatics. May all your matches, be of the 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ variety :)

Rey Mysterio is an all time great. Rey's 49 years old, also had multiple knee surgeries, at least that's the story when Rey would take time off. and Rey still moves like he did in 1996. The problem with the NWO is they added too many bodies. So much that they split the NWO into two factions. I didn't like that wcw had Sting Macho Man and Bret Hart joining the group. More so Sting and Macho Man, bc they spent so much time fighting them, to switch sides. WCW tried to turn Sting heel, by joining the Wolfpack, but fans weren't booing Sting, no matter what heel tactics he did.
@TheRealAhoy2 ай бұрын
It wasn't that they had too many members, which is what people often say. They were supposed to keep adding members, they were supposed to take over the whole company and the nwo angle became so strong because viewers at home were convinced IT WILL happen. The problem was that they did nothing except go on about how cool they were for the rest of their existence.

The best coda to that song is the knowledge that WWE just _assumed_ they had the rights to it, but it was all based on handshake type arrangement between Kracker and Justin Credible. When it came time to rebroadcast _some_ of the shows for On Demand, they redubbed the entrances with their earlier production music to err on the side of caution. Then it all ended up being okay, but they didn't want redub a redub and I guess they lost the originals. Now, some episodes feature the generic production music and some feature Uncle Kracker. 25:48 I was 15 & deeply entrenched into WCW & the NWO leading up to this show, & i remember that Schiavone & Heenan would talk about how 2-faced Hogan was being by doing the movies for kids but being such a P.O.S. leading the NWO, so WCW was acknowledging the absurdity of Hogan being the leader of the NWO & making kids movies.

The Renegade also used that music which was used for the Halloween Havoc and Marvelous Marc Mero theme. It was towards the end of his TV run, late-97 and early 98.

Was the "number no longer active" text from the WCW Hotline part of the footage you used, or did you stick that on there?
