As a musician, drums, really percussion, are actually a really important component to bands. They are often used for guidance and direction within music by the rest of the musicians in a band. Not to mention they provide the solid energy, rhythm, and beat, they are quite literally the heartbeat of a song. They really are what brings the band together, they are the backbone, despite being “in the background”. So I’m not surprised that Shiver would be on team drums. It takes a whole lot of talent, multitasking, keeping track, and in a sense they lead the band. I don’t think I can tell you just how many times the drums saved me in a performance.

Guitar can do rhythm, melody, and bass. Keyboard can do anything if it’s midi and piano is an awesome instrument on its own. Drums are a key part but it can’t really work well without other instruments.

7 year drummer brain go crazy now lol it definatly is so ive done about 9 gigs and messed up a couple of times and i noticed that whenever i messed up the entire band mucks up i would say in order of the most important things in a band are drums then base guitar then vocals then piano + guitar then purcussion idk what it is about purcussion but whenever i play it i just enhance the drummer with my hits but other then that it just feels akward

thats more of a classical/jazz band theme than general music. most pop-music nowadays doesnt have woodwind or brass for instance, but those instruments are very common in school bands. i'm picking keyboard cus thats like my whole channel though lol

For a challenge if you fail, try to win a match without in-game sound! It might not make for a good listening experience on stream to just mute the console though, so maybe just turn it down real quiet and use some good noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs?

I used to be a drummer back in School so I’d choose drums but It’s shiver we’re talking about. I tried to pick up guitar but I’m not as fluent at it. Keyboard remains a special place in my heart as it was the first instrument I was introduced to and I play a little better than guitar and I just like how it sounds. As someone who plays the drums I think it’ll be most popular and win. The question is which instrument would you play so I’m guessing it’s in ideal circumstances and besides some people play the drums Because they can be loud and you can also show off on them. Not to mention that drums are kinda the glue that hold most songs together anyway.

3:11 ⚠️ *RAMBLE WARNING!* I can’t really see Shiver playing a drum kit, but, if she were to play drums, I can TOTALLY see her playing a Shamisen, which is a drum often used in Amami folk music, I could be wrong, but I think that’s what it is. However, I can really see Frye rocking out and going ham on a drum set. Frye bring on Team Drums would also probably coincide with her love for dancing, as she would want to play a catchy beat to make anyone listening want to dance. Either that or Big Man, hint off of what tot said about drums being in the background, which would fit Big Man’s more temperament, as he often prefers in the background. If anything, if there was a Team Vocals, Shiver should represent Team Vocals, since we’ve already heard her impressive vocal talent.

I can't pick between guitar and piano. Even though I play piano and not guitar I love love love love the color for guitar. And I think more people play guitar than piano if I'm not mistaken. HOWEVER when you start playing guitar your fingers can really hurt because of those strings and piano you don't get pain (physical pain at least) from it. But I still don't know

Honestly, I’m starting to see a lack of guitar people in this section. I’m no person to speak on anyones behalf, but I generally prefer Guitar as I’m learning but its not just that fact that I’m learning it, its the fact that learning it has become a challenging yet satisfying and enjoyable journey. I feel like while Drums are just as important, what needs to be understood, is that both Guitar, and Drums will always play an important part in certain music. Electric or Bass? I do prefer Electric guitars, but bass is pretty cool too. The reason I even begun learning guitar was what I heard from electric guitars, guitar players and even a few bass moments as well. Hearing all fast-paced rock, punk, noise rock or most of them just gave a certain energetic, fiery feeling that just always turned up the heat to give somewhat of a positive energy flowing in, and thats where the spark for my love of music and guitar came from (btw, I’m still a beginner, mostly because schools been dragging me to bottom and all) Hearing a guitar, or even a bass is just enough to pump me up, drums end up being the cherry on top for me, and when it just starts getting even higher, thats where it just gets even better. It never once felt like a downer situation. Just non-stop fiery energy just exuding from the electric guitar and strikes from the bass, while the drums became an earthquake to emphasis it more! In conclusion though, all instruments play an important role, and good luck to those in the splatfest. Definitely voting for guitar.

Personally I think keyboard is more of a widely learned instrument (especially piano), but I could be wrong. I play keyboard as well so that was an automatic choice for me. And YES this is such a balanced SPLATFEST! Also Big man was hired because he was a talented pianist! Something I'd like to bring up is you can play both the drum sounds and guitar sounds on electric keyboard which is so cool (I know it's not like you're playing the actual instrument). So technically Big Man wins either way 🤯

I’m picking guitar, because I’m taking guitar lessons from a friend soon. I also want to learn how to play the fiddle and violin from another friend. Drums have never been for me. The whole crossing arms and using your foot all at the same time makes my brain short circuit. I used to want to learn keyboard though, but I’ve given up on that because it seems too difficult for me. Something about it being long and horizontal throws me off. A guitar and violin/fiddle you have to hold up and for some reason I think that slight verticality will make it easier for me to learn them.
