16:16 is an important point as is the preacher’s confession that she wonders if Hannah wanted the legitimization her son would bring, but didn’t necessarily want her son. My only thought on that is that dedicating your child to the Lord isn’t a sacrifice, but the ultimate liberation for the faithful soul. Thanks for sparking the thoughts. This is all worthy of discussion. Also, please add the scripture to the description box going forward. I’m able to discern it from the sermon but I’d like to read it before you preach.
