Really enjoy your channel. I think our operations are heading in opposite directions. You are selling your old tractors. I have been selling my new tractors and buying old ones. To be fair we are in different kinds of agriculture. New tractors don’t like doing grunt work around a cattle ranch.

It's amazing how tractors can become just like family members. I have a old one that won't leave until I do.

Replace those shaker arms. Also, you might want to consider replacing the entire shoe frame. I think that the new one we put in was updated. Check for cracks inside the machine especially up close to the pre cleaner.

4440 was one of my first tractors I drove on the farm doing potatoes. The one I drove had the hydraulic front assist on it and was a power shift. Not the greatest system for 4 wheel drive though 😅😂

We have a 4440 just like that one don't use it much anymore but I surely do love it

With all the tech issues in new equipment, why would you give up a good old mechanical tractor?

The old man has been farming for years. It’s like riding a bike, he’ll never forget. 😆

Can you explain the market for the crops? Do you wait for a call or do you decide when to sell? Are you contracted for so much? etc etc... Great channel, keep filming!!

Now THAT would be nice! Not sure if we can get by pulling that type of trailer in Minnesota though.
@markpeterson68366 ай бұрын
Best a guy can do in MN is a 53' tri axle trailer and a 4 axle tractor to haul 97k. But yeah Hazel is a little jaunt for them!
