Another great interview! I feel like you asked most of the questions that I personally wanted to hear about. No need to discuss drones with Jesse... I was surprised how he introduced his discussions with Santiago Lopez. He spoke quite a bit about him. I personally think that Lopez is by far, our most talented dual National prospect. I would love to see him play vs Panama in October @ BMO field. I was also a bit surprised that there was no mention of our U-20, 6'3" tall 18 year old star goalkeeper Grégoire Świderski. He just signed a 3 year deal in Spain with La Liga club club Deportivo Alavés. Świderski is a dual national, as he was born in France to a Canadian father and French mother. He is of Polish descent through his maternal grandfather. He was excellent playing for Canada in the recent July 2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. I was happy to hear Jimmy ask about the 6' tall 16 year old, very talented midfielder Grady McDonnell in Vancouver. It's a shame that he was born & raised in Canada; but he's played all of his international futbol with Ireland so far. I was pleased to see that Jesse was going to talk to him; however I was surprised that he only heard about Grady 2 days ago. Jesse needs a Canadian talent scout to keep him fully informed about the very talented players, to start with. Jesse must be on a very hectic schedule. He looked pale & quite tired by the end of your discussion.

Great interview and informative… where youth development is concerned shouldn’t there be more open camps instead of games? Understandably a serious camp have 100 players but why is it always the seemingly hand picked few? It’s clearly coming to the point where no respective opportunity is driving families to access extended nationalities alternatives.

15 years ago I didn’t know why Canada didn’t go after players that could play for Canada that could qualify for citizenship and such !

Nobody cared about football in Canada 15 years ago...🤷🏾♂️

@@samuelrigaud88 I was born in Canada in 1964 and was better at soccer than anyone I met born in England. My mother’s English and father Croatian. The best team in the world in 1976 was Toronto Metros Croatia. Maybe you heard of Eusebio. English players made crap money in the 60s and 80s that’s why they played in Canada and the USA to make money. The best player on Englands national team 15 years ago was born in Canada, Hargreaves !
