You should really review lower end AMD Laptop CPUs like the ryzen 5 5500u, ryzen 3 5300u, even the 4000 series did well. The 6000 series is king, but they are still pricey because of ddr5 and being the newest available.

According to Intel, this Celeron came out in 2019. It has a 10W TDP. I don't think it would be good for general web browsing.

My mom got this for me for my birthday a few days ago. And it certainly is an upgrade from my Lenovo Thinkpad from 2015. Huge screen, fast internet searches, good for transferring pictures from my camera to it. Its a good home laptop, but it does not like to run games. Even at the lowest settings i get 10-20fps consistently. The laptop itself looks and feels very nice however. And there's a small panel held in by 2 screws on the bottom, perhaps revealing something that is upgradeable. But i haven't unscrewed it yet. This laptop came without instructions. Also, this video is the only video that i've found going into ANY depth at all about this particular laptop.

Funny, Microcenter has a Lenovo Ideapad with an i3-1115G4 for $200 right now. Hardly a gaming laptop, but it still blows this thing away - 60 FPS in Valorant, playable rates in Fortnite, etc.

They're fairly easy to run games so with streaming in mind as an extra overhead you could pick up some GTX 1650 laptops on ebay for somewhere in the 500 range each and meet those needs

To sum it up in just 2 words, I'd say - complete disaster... maybe it was positioned incorrectly on their website? If we ignore the gaming side of things, imho it's still not powerful enough for a day to day usage. You open up the browser and some other apps and it will become barely responsive. Big, and I mean BIG shame on Intel on producing such an e-waste like this celeron. Waste of an effort.. Looking up the ladder, we're into 13th gen and i3's are still quad core.. Seriously Intel? That laptop would probably be fine for internet and solitaire. Hey there's your gaming! But all kidding aside if you just need a cheap laptop for office work that would work. My own work does better with my actual gaming laptop with a Ryzen 7 and RTX 2060 with 16 gigs of RAM because for the software we use 8 cores are best because for some reason the software is optimized for 8 cores. More is bad and less is slow but 8 is good. I don't know why that is. I think it's strange. But anyway that laptop would probably be fine for word processing and surfing the internet and doing Skype and stuff. But yeah it's a little strange that it has 12 Gigs of RAM and that processor is pathetic.
