Just love a E39, I genuinely beleive this era of cars was the peak. Everything since has been built for profit. It felt like these were built for quality.

Chris working in a shirt reminds me of my grandad, top hgv mechanic always wore a shirt whilst at work, you never know when you maybe pulled away for an emergency pint.

Part of the attraction of the channel is not knowing what to expect when it comes to which vehicle you will be working on. Success as always guys. Great car..

I agree, though sometimes when there's a gap I find it difficult to remember the car In question, as soon as the clip of the car being dragged out of the driveway was played it all fell into place

When jumping an E39 you should connect it under the bonnet not in the boot. The jump connections are under the bonnet so that they are as close as possible to a. the starter and b. the electronics. There is also another sender unit in the left-hand lobe of the fuel tank (the fuel tank straddles the prop shaft).

Rob & Chris, as a fellow content creator, I know where you're coming from. I make my videos in a similar way. I usually concentrate on a specific job on any given car (not always one of my own). That Alpina is crying out for a good clean. It is worth saving due to the rarity alone.
