Quality of the video is good with the lighting. Definitely a smokers house. I would say put the garage back, a lot of people love garages and the extra storage space.

I was thinking the same. If you made it into a one car garage and utility area in the front half, I bet you could punch a door through from the kitchen and make the back of that space a nice bonus room to an outside patio area with a barbque or something

My brother is a structural engineer and obviously they're looking for rot and deteriorating foundation problems. The color of the wood (black) is very telling in parts of the house. This is definitely a big job to rehab. Doesn't surprise me that the budget is over $100,000. If you can revamp that addition you could really improve the value. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I'm laughing at your admission that the wooden toilet seat, golden toilet paper holder, and broken mirror were the reason you bought the home since it's a really good selling point. 🤣😂🤣😂😉

It's actually called a snaffle daffle. It derives it name from the ancient Greek word, snoffleloffagus. It wasn't until mid century when they discovered that nobody actually cared what it was called. That stands true till this day.

I would seriously question the foundation of this house with all the openings of the floors with the hill in the back. If so would find out what has caused it. There are some crazy quarks in this house for sure. Cannot wait to see the after video for this house.

Welcome back. Hope you had a great vacation I was encouraged by the lookn of the front. Looks trim with the fence and cut lawn. Actyally with the very white fence, that particular shade of blue is complimrntary and gives a calming look to the house. especially with the large wall of whitr on the enclosed garage. I am a little shocked by the huge holes that seem to have just been done.. They could have raised and leveled the house for less than replacing the floors. I would do a remod on the addition. I cant tell the sq ft size of the room....but it could become a lovely living room with a pretty door with side lights where the fdarage door was' Take out the cheap looking windows and maybe install frosted windows (because it is so close to the neighbors). I think a really cool kitchen could be placed in the back. Leave it open. Put a really nice sized counter/bar nearly all the way across the room. Then you could turn the old kitchen into a dining room. That would allow the space to totally reconfigure the rest of the house into 4 bedrooms with 2 nice larger sized bathrooms. Adding 4 walk in closets and a laundry room in the old dining area adding more windows om the back wall even a nice pantry, It didnt feel negative until you got to the back yard. A huge hill that close and nearly straight up and down.....no......I would not even want to rent it at any price. Wonder if that hill could be terraced back at least another 15 ft. And a reinforded barrier wall.

I don't see much value in creating an outdoor experience through an expensive slider at the end of the dining area. In fact, I think a better use of that space would be to make that the kitchen area with a big window over a sink and cabinetry and open the other end like you suggested into the living space with that area to function as a dining area instead.
