As if a vaccine will restore society to "normal" when there is so much else that underlies the web of problems . "WE" as whole are subjected to the greed of the few. CUI BONO? If the collective "WE" of which you speak in regard to being either too oppressed or comfortable to think that "WE" are too powerless to make a change, there is some accountability to collectively take charge and make the changes. If people are too poor in their own country to elevate themselves from poverty, talk about the hands that rape the resources and build resorts and famrlands that push out the native farmers. Talk about the disconnect people have from the land and limit their own resources within urban areas. Do "WE" really need another scientist to guide us to manage the earth? Talk about the farmers ordered to destroy crops, i.e., turning plowshares into swords. When you talk to your own peers whose hands drive development to their benefit and not "WE", then you should already know about how "WE" are viewed as an overpopulation, little more. How dare she.

What a wonderful humane being!! (not just a human being) I think the reason many are still opposed to thinking that animals have feelings and thoughts like us is because, if they did accept that truth, they would have to reckon with how THEY have treated animals. No human truly wants to believe they are bad. It’s like an abused child… they still love their abusive parent because if they hated that parent they would feel the same about themselves because they are part of that parent. Who wants to hate themselves? We as a world need to include rather than divide.
