@@dakota3086 This "purism" idea is actually the worst for ANY KIND OF CHANGE vegans and environmental activist work for. Everyone can be absolutely selfish and openly cruel about their decision, and we don't take accountability for them. But as soon someone speaks out about some uncomfortable issue, people tend to search for any reason to justify why they don't want to listen to their point, and then comes the "hypocrisy argument". Veganism is a journey, not a goal, we learn, we make mistakes, we understand more and more every time, and we change... it's a process. But this kind of appalling affirmations are not made to open a debate, because you are not looking inside the ethics or it's suddenly wrong anything on his speech because he rides a horse in a past movie?

@@p00r0n "Vegan factors" ?? You mean factories? Vegan foods typically aren't produced in factories any more than animal foods are. And WAAAAAAY fewer animals die, and no animals are actively enslaved, bread or abused. If crop farmers actually cared for animals, we would make farming systems that were actually mindful of small animals. The reason so many small animals are still sadly killed in crop farming is exactly because farmers do not care about animals. Maybe read up a bit on this.

The clip speaks for itself, Tucker Carlson expected to be turned off and ended up being impressed and finding Gene’s points reasonable and sensible. The goal is not to win an argument, the goal is to be persuasive and get people to listen and consider. ''the people who pay for the torture and killing of animals for food'' ...no my dear, we pay to eat meat. Your ''reasoning'' is not honest. So when you buy a car you are paying for the killing of midges and to spread pollution to all people's lambs? So killing animal for food is not good (EVEN IF IT HAPPEN EVERY DAY IN NATURE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME) but killing human (including children) is acceptable/good/normal? AS EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD, the truth is in the middle and never on the extremes: Intensive farming is wrong, I agree, but this doesn't mean we must stop farming, just stop INTENSIVE FARMING. This ''cruelty'' thing is just a stupid hypocritical non-sense! Did you know that wolves eats their prey while it is still trying to escape? They doesn't care to kill it before, they simply start biting it. This (and many many more APPARENT cruelty) happens EVERY F*******K DAY because simply is nature, and nature is not emphatic or unselfish, it is not a real thinking being, it's just how things evolved, clearly no God involved in fact CASUALLY we have no evidence for God. I could go on by humiliating your poor little mind but I well know you already decided that you are on the right side and will never actually question yourself, I mean, practically I just wasted some time. @@nathanspark4876 animals dont torture. And ppl need to drive. they dont need to eat meat
@henrik_xiii2 жыл бұрын
@@nathanspark4876 You bring up some good points here, but I think you should think more about the nature-argument. Yes, omnivores and carnivores kill other animals in the wild out of necessity. A necessity that we as humans living in developed countries no longer have. Besides, we have moral agency, a factor that makes us able to evaluate whether something is morally right or wrong. The wolves that you bring up, do not have that ability. They eat to survive. That's nature. But we as humans living in first world countries are no longer a part of that nature, we live in technologically developed nations, which could be argued to not be natural. Just because something happens in the wild or has happened since the beginning of time doesn't make it morally right. But I agree, we should absolutely advocate and do something about sweatshops and child labour, that is inhumane and morally wrong. Torturing and killing unnecessarily is wrong. However, due to technology becoming a greater part of our daily life, most of us can't participate in necessary actions, like school or work, without it. We should strive for more ethical technology, absolutely, like buying used, but one could argue that technology is a necessity for modern humans living in first world countries. Most of us need it to work, to be able to sustain ourselves, to put food on the table. But just because we can't be perfect, i.e. cause absolutely no harm, doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to better ourselves. This goes for both omnivores and vegans.

Veganism Rocks. I am so happy that in 21st century, all alternative even for dairy is available as vegan options in every city. It's only mindset.

My favorite is the last guy J, he speaks from the heart. As a former VEGAN activist....it was always SUPER uncomfortable to confront people, shame them, point at them, rage at them, all while only truly wanting to speak from my heart center. J does the justice of leaning humans into the heart, into love, into compassion....reminding us of our good & what we can do with it....not pointing out our faults so extremely

I love seeing things like this, where people are standing up for animals and educating people on veganism. It takes a lot of guts! I've tried myself and I always end up getting shouted over or told that I've been brainwashed. People look at me like I'm insane and it's really upsetting that so many people are inexorable and unwilling to even listen. I honestly think that if meat and dairy eaters did their research, most would want to adopt a plant-based diet. I've only been vegan for 6 months, but I seriously am the happiest and the healthiest I have ever been in my life.

Thank you so much for consistantly supporting vegan9sm. You look so young but you are educating us all . It is so wonderful to be able to open up youtube and find support against so much cruelty. Sometimes i cant stop crying because of the cruelty around me that I have no power to stop. We collect more and more animals but so many creatures are suffering and to hear you or joe carbstrong or myoko schinner and i feel supported …it is comforting. I am so in awe of the bravery and verbal skill of so many of you. Thankyou for what you are doing.

Thanks, compelling as always. Really appreciate your intelligent and compassionate advocacy. To truly reach our true human potential as spiritually evolved beings we quite obviously have to relinquish any compunction or rationalisation that allows us to inflict harm and commit violence against other beings. I'm encouraged that in this time of great crisis that many are rising to shed light upon the darkness of animal cruelty and factory farming of animals for food. Namaste

Tell the 820 million people living in extreme poverty, suffering from hunger and nutrient deficiencies throughout the world that “Vegans rule”. The majority of these people depend on raising animals for food and income. Is it ethical to tell a hungry poor person/families who raises meat that they are murderers and should avoid meat because a well-fed privileged Westerner doesn’t feel like it’s ok?
@zulven_4 жыл бұрын
@@Combinationlock these millions of people are starving while people force-feed animals ... 80% of the soy its fed to animals, causing deforestation on Amazon making lives of indigenous worse and dont even feed enough people. If people stoped planting this amount of soy for and started planting other things like beans or lentils(only for humans), we could end this shit and even reforest the damaged areas. Search about it
