Your "iceplant" on the riverbank, is what we call in RSA 'hotnotsvygie', translated 'bushman's fig'. They are very medicinal, you break off a piece and squeeze the juice out, perfect for burn wounds, mosquito bites, sunburn, blisters (on the lip), skin irritations, rash amongst others. It'll grow a pretty pink flower and creep/rank in semi sun/shade.

It’s amazing how Drew tore down the old outhouse & reused the wood/nails & rebuilt it piece by piece on your property. Better built than the original structure. Drew can do anything. Most people would have just torn down the old outhouse & used the wood for firewood. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰

Another great video! 👋👋 It reminded me of Little House on the Prairie. 🤩 When I was a kid, while playing in the yard, I had a misfortune of stepping on a board with some large nails sticking out. Yes, ouch! I never forgot that incident so whenever I am doing projects that involve boards and nails, I make sure that I either remove them, bang them down or make sure they are facing towards the ground. Watching you guys demolishing the outhouse with all those nails sticking out reminded me of my experience. It's easy to lose our balances with all those logs all around. 🙏🥰🥰

Drew, while watching you backing up Toni, it occurred to me that you might consider putting a hitch on the front of your truck. It's great for backing trailers in tight & curvy places. Also, will you be plastering the exterior red brick? Lastly, I love both of you. Watching makes me calm, anxiety gone. It you put out a video daily, I might just start to appear normal. 😅😅😅

I knew Drew is a hard worker. But wow! Brittany and Drew had to really use their brains to figure out how best to document the log loo structure. Then the setting up of cameras to get the time lapses and all the angles of logs being fit together. I just wonder how many hours this one project/video took? How long did just the edit take? Y’all work hard for your money. Subscribe to Mr. and Mrs. Adventure. I watched the video from your van trip in Portugal from 6 years ago. It was a cute video with lots of beautiful scenery. My only complaint was you cut from scene to scene too fast for my 68 year old brain to process. But you have definitely honed and perfected your craft. Well done. I especially loved the music in this one.
@Mrandmrsadventure7 сағат бұрын
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and appreciative comment 🙏 With me being sick and other projects demanding Drew’s attention at the same time, the “loo” took about 3 weeks before it was 100% complete 😅 and the edit, most take about 30-40 hours from start to finish. It’s a job that definitely demands my focus and discipline weekly, but I am so very grateful for the ability to be creative and share our lives with you 🙏💪 You all keep us inspired beyond words 💖
