Was the vehicle insulated as part of the original prison van conversion or did you have to strip the walling of and insulate before replacing it?

Nice! Would be interested in more details on the switch between hookup 240v and Inverter 240v, im guessing they both can feed the same plugs? I have the same thing I want to figure out, do you just place some sort of plug that directs electricity either from Inverter or Hookup?

The switch directs the feed to the distribution from either the inverter or the hookup. 2 inputs, one output, and the switch selects between each input

shower taking up a 1/6th of the space for ten minutes of use a day, why not use that space for storage and having an over the toilet shower system, ????

How is the gas fitted to hob? Is it copper piping or just rubber pipe straight to it?

Combination both. Solid pipe tonthe gas cabinet, and new, in date rubber hose the last 30-40cm

Just got myself a 6.5t ivevo daily prison truck to convert. Any help and advice in how to remove the shear bolts. There's 100s of them.

Mole grips, or a socket and high torque driver like an milwaukee m18 fuel driver. Get the socket/splined bit, hit it over the shear bolt so it grips and then carefully wind itnout

@@CombeValleyCampers cheers for the reply. Unfortunately I can't access the back of the shear bolts so they're just spinning. I used a grinder to slice a groove in the head of a coulple of the bolts and used a screwdriver in the Grove but they just twist and twist. So frustrating

I'm guessing removed the whole top of the head of the bolt, with a flap disc on a grinder or even a sharp metal working chisel and knocking the top of the bolt with a huge blow

Its 2x150w panels. It was a mistake on my part at the beginning if the video. I got a bit excited and, I was perched on the roof trying to show the camera everything!

Hi Paul, the 5ltr is just for the sink. The shower will be supplied by a tank under the floor

what are they running that requires 240v constantly? Hate to be picky but why in the hell would they want the hob where it is and lose out on bench space as you can't stand outside and use that empty space between the hob and the sliding door?!

Hi Forest. The customer required 240V Contstantly to run a TV, Laptop, and games consoles. Also, the worktop height, if standing outside, would be taller than the customer could use effectively. We build the vehicle as per the customer spec at the end of the day

why did you put reversing camera on a switch ??? why not just put the reversing camera to the wire for the reversing light so then when you put van in reversing activates when it just goes in reverse... No need the switch.....that what I'm going to do on my campervan I just get ??

Hi Raymond, this was at customer request so she could view behind the vehicle at any time, not just when she selected reverse.
