Hello Chuck & Paige! Watching this video out of viewing order; the scenic beauty of the palm trees and greenery is amazing! Like the video production and content of your videos. A lot of beneficial information for me to absorb and utilize on my inaugural visit to Thailand. Creative what they did with the rice plate! WOW! Attractive draw to have restaurants pick you up to cross the river, especially in an evening setting, quite romantic. Hahahahaha, you're funny Chuck!

Will send prayers, love and light to Eddy. You've done video's on death in Thai (very well), jeez this comment might get longer than I wanted so bear with me. 10-15 years ago, my parents started losing friends left and right to, cancer, old age, dementia/alzheimers, etc...I could see the loneliness creeping in, Mom passed in 22 from Alzheimers, Dad is 91 and had 3 bouts of cancer treatment and it's back w/dementia setting in... is sad he has NO friends left to visit so it's all on me and my wife to visit 4 days a week(it's all i can take...). I knew guys in Thailand 98-2005, how were long time residents and they were experiencing the 'older crowd' passing. It's sad AF, but it's life, and will happen anywhere you live. I get a little comfort in that those in Thailand will most likely spend their last months, weeks, days with close friends, family and a very loving culture as they slip away, unlike in the States, kids moved away and pass in some hospice center alone.

@@PotterthepattayapervI’m 65, retired military and Police. I’ve always been active and a daily jogger. I got sick two years ago right after moving to Korat. Chronic Veinous Insufficiency. Apparently from years of standing in Combat Boots. Pain is the not the word for it. It’s life altering. Problem was in severely undiagnosed. I did not know what was wrong. I got vascular surgery at Bangkok Hospital Korat and am recovering.

Very enjoyable vlog Chuck and I think you clearly demonstrate that while it may be the low season, and therefore not a popular time among many tourists, it is actually an ideal time to travel there. It’s not overcrowded, cost is lower and the weather is still warm enough to enjoy the scenery, activities, dining, pool etc! Thank you once again🙏

Hi Mr C & Mrs P, can I recommend a place for you to check out which is 60 seconds from the Long Stay at Klong Prao you checked on this video? I won’t say anything unless you ask and I’m not affiliated to this place however I’ve stayed at the Long Stay and the place I’m recommending . It’s super quiet and also based on the estuary and my personal No 1 location I’ve ever visited for price and tranquility🙏

I wanted to visit Eddie but don't think he is up to meeting strangers at this point. I remember running into Kevin in Thailand one day before his fatal illness, we discussed health insurance,I explained I had it. Kevin's approach was to wait until he turned 60. Unfortunately that didn't work out. Great guy and I miss him😢 GET INSURANCE IMMEDIATELY. If you develop a condition prior,it becomes pre existing and will not be covered.

I agree I have premium insurance at a very low price in Thailand
@kevo84984 ай бұрын
@notime2bsad Been listening to a description of Ed's hospital Bills during this tragic incident and am worried my premium over here in Thailand with a big name Insurance company would cover those massive bills!. I'm hearing them mention 80k a night in ICU and follow up rooms also at insane amounts. Nothing like mine pays per night. ( 4k per night) And thinking about it. In our age groups a stroke or heart attack is what can result in those very type of huge bills. I'm rechecking with my Insurance agent and going over those specifics as we speak. My opinion is everyone living here should reevaluate the actual coverage they have and look at how much those hospitals will charge in a life changing incident. And how much your chosen company will pay out. It's already pretty sad when you have a premium company and you still go to a local clinic because out patient care doesn't cover much or jacks up your premium greatly to aquire it.
