We don’t believe in reincarnation or multiple gods. As a Muslim I’ve never heard anyone compare the two religions. We believe that this life is the test for your final judgment. Of course some people never heard the truth in this life, and they will have a chance to redeem themselves, but we don’t know the details of that. It won’t be another life, though. For some people, Hell will be like a prison sentence and they will enter Paradise after that. It’s not like video game you can play over and over until you win, though.

in Islam, we believe that if you're good and you seek the truth you'll eventually get driven to Islam, I disagree with y'all about gravitating towards Judaism more just cuz it seems more merciful. What happens in the afterlife according to Islam. The process that everyone will go through, whether you are a believer or not. What happens when you die and right after your death: 1. When your soul is being pulled out of your body and it reaches near your throat, the door to repentance will be closed forever. 2. You will be able to see the unseen world as well as the physical world at the same time, you will be able to see Malakul Maut (the angel of death). 3. If the angel of death appears to be extremely dark, scary and angry, you know you are one of the inhabitants of Jahannam (hell), but if it appears to you as a beautiful angel full of light (he will whisper to you and bring good tidings), you'll know that you are one of the inhabitants of Jannah (paradise). 4. You will most probably be shown your place either in hell or in paradise. 5. For those with Iman (faith), your soul will be extracted swiftly and smoothly akin to water flowing out from a bottle, else your soul will be 'screaming' (since it does not want to leave the body) and the pain will be unimaginable. But EVERYONE (except those who Shahid) will feel the pain of death, only the degree of pain differs according to your level of faith. 6. Your soul will then be wrapped in a 'cloth' brought from paradise with the smell of paradise (for those who dies a good death, husnul khatimah), it will be lifted up throughout all the 7 layer of heavens, where all the inhabitants of these 7 layers of heavens will praise the soul. But for those who dies a bad death (suul khatimah), your soul will be wrapped with a 'cloth' from hell, the odour that emanates from this if it were to be smelled by the inhabitants of the physical world, it would kill them instantly. 7. A good soul will then be placed at a place called Illiyin, while a bad soul will placed at Sijjin. 8. A bad soul will not be allowed to pass even the 1st layer of heaven, it will be thrown back down forcefully. What happens in the grave (Barzakh): 1. Everyone will feel the crushing of the grave so to speak, regardless whether you are a believer or a disbeliever, whether you are a good or bad soul, towards which the severity will depend on your deeds on earth. 2. While in the grave, you will be accompanied by an entity, that entity is a representation of your good deed or bad deeds. 3. 2 angels (Mungkar & Nakir) will then descend upon you to question you, usually 3-4 questions will be asked (1. Who is your Lord, 2. Who is your prophet, 3. What is your faith, 4. What is your book). The angels will carry some sort of a 'hammer' which will be used to punish you if you are not able to provide the right answers to the questions asked. This hammer if it is placed on a mountain, will destroy that mountain. You will not be answering this questions with your 'mouth', but with your deeds and how you have lived your life while on earth. 4. For every right answer, your 'grave' in Barzakh will expand and brighten, and once you pass all, your soul will be brought to the gardens of paradise (not paradise yet) where you can interact with other good souls there, but if you fail, your soul will be brought to one of the 'holes' of hell to be punished (not hell yet). This will last until the day of judgement. The day of judgement (Akhirah): 1. After the end of days, all souls will be awakened as per how they died (if you died at 60 yrs old weighing 75kg and bald, you will be raised as such) and they will all head to a place called "Mahsyar", some (not all) good souls will have some sort of a 'transport' to head there, others will be walking, evil doers will be 'walking' with their face on the ground. How far is this place is unknown. 2. Mahsyar is a flat land (not earth) as far as the eyes can see, for the disbelievers and evil doers (Muslim or not), it will be extremely hot, some will even drown in their own sweat. 3. Once arrive, you will be waiting a minimum of 50,000 years BEFORE even judgement starts, but for the ones with unshakable faith it will seem as if you've only waited for half a day. 4. A select few (the chosen ones - VVVVIPs) will not be judged and suffer, they will be guided straight to heaven with our prophet Muhammad PBUH. 5. For the rest, they will be judged and everyone will be able to see their sins, how long this lasts, we don't really know, it could be millions/billions of years before you could enter paradise/hellfire. In between these times, other things will also happen (google them). 6. Once a person is judged, you will receive a 'ticket', if you receive this 'ticket' with your left hand, know that you are an inhabitant of hellfire, right hand, paradise. 7. Once everyone is judged, Allah will command prophet Adam PBUH to separate between those who will be going to hell (on the left side) and those of heaven (on the right side), the ratio of heaven/hell inhabitants is 1:1000. 8. For Muslims, once judged, you will head to our prophet's well where you will be served a drink whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, colder than snow, once you drink it, you will never be thirsty forever again. 9. For Muslims, you will then head to Sirat al-Mustaqim, some sort of a bridge, this bridge is extremely long and dark, beneath it is Hell, at the end is paradise, the only way to safely cross is with your Iman, the higher your Iman, the brighter you will be (you will be emanating light) and the faster you can cross it, for the VVVVIPs (all prophets included), you will be crossing it as fast as lightning (instantly), others as fast as the wind, some like a sprinting horse, some will be running, walking, and there will be those who will crawl, many will fall to hell. For some it'll take hundreds of years to cross. You can smell paradise at least 500 years before reaching it. 10. Non-believers will not be crossing this bridge (only Muslims), they'll go straight to Hellfire. 11. At the gates of paradise, there will be a river called Qantharah of which everyone will be purified in it 100% before entering paradise. There will be 8 doors to paradise, and VVVVIPs can choose whichever gate they like, Some of the name of the gates are 1. Salah, 2. Jihad, 3. Ar-Rayyan, 4. Saddaqah, 5. Aiman (for the VVVVVIPs), etc. Crossing into paradise: 1. Anyone who enters paradise will remain in it forever. 2. There are many levels of paradise, the inhabitants of the higher ones can visit the lower levels, the ones in the lower levels will not be able to visit the higher ones, your level depends on your deeds and Iman. 3. The first step is to identify the truth ie true religion accepted by the Creator. The commonality of the msg from the first Prophet Adam pbuh funneling thru all that we have been told about in between until the final messenger of Allah sent as the Mercy to mankind and the seal of the Prophets ie Prophet Muhammed sallalaho alye wasalam and pbuh and pbut all.
