+Letlamb it is clear you do not know what you write about. They are not savage people. They are the nicest, warmest, kind folks we've ever met. And they all work extremely hard in support of the massive tourist industry that is Punta Cana. Who do you think takes care of all the fat, wealthy Europeans who step over and around everything they do not wish to see until they get to their secluded enclaves? These lovely folks are not paid to help with the animals - they came out to help in droves. This was a huge community building event. So. You might reconsider how you describe these nice people..

The first dog I saw them catch in Punahou Cana was crying so bad, it sounds like the poor dog was in distress. Besides spaying and nurturing were they going to be checked for other physical abnormalities? Those catchers, not rescuers are cruel for no apparent reason!

A couple of things. These are the local people who normally pay no attention to these dogs. 2. These dogs are not used to anyone paying attention to them. 3. They were on a strict deadline to spay / neuter 400 dogs in 4 days. that's 100 per day. +Jeanette Shugart this was a mega spay neuter event in the Dominican Republic. 400 dogs in 4 days. Those kids are volunteers collecting the dogs for the volunteer surgeons. As you can see they had never done this before.

These dogs weren't rescued, this was a mega spay neuter event. The dogs were returned to their owner or the street following surgical or chemical castration. You most likely didn't understand, because you thought it was a rescue video.

Molly Moses They are helping them. I have relatives in India and there are thousands of stray dogs. They need to work quickly to call ch as many as the can so they don’t make more offspring. I still think it is sad how roughly they have to treat the dogs, but they are doing it for a good cause.

I just went through a box of Kleenex. I volunteer at my local animal welware. I literally loose sleep worrying over all the (animals) that are abused, left behind with no food and no water. I make myself sick. My wish is that more people would care for animals as much as I do. 🐶🐱

People needs to understand that these dogs are set free again. it's not like some other channel who gives them a happy home. they are Quick so they can get as much dogs they can. if they don't do it, within a year there Will be allot puppy's roaming the streets. it's beter that these dogs are nuttered, that way allot of puppy's are prevented to live al life on the streets. btw the dogs screaming is not only of pain more of stress. but most of these dogs (unlike other channels) never had an owner, so it's not possible the calm them down. it's better if they do it Quick and leave the dogs alone after that.

This is where my two rescues are from. I thank God for people who rescue these animals. One of my dogs was hit twice by two cars losing her eye and displacing her hip. Another I adopted a year later would have to have his leg amputated after being hit once himself. This was around 10 years ago. They are both happy and healthy to this day.
