Hats off to Camilla for smoothing out the vibes all the time. Like when she says " I will wash the car since Natt drove". It takes a lot of effort to humble ones self and smooth things out with family members. My wife does this too with the kids and me, even though my wife does more work around the house than me.

Hey Natt or Camilla, if you ever get the time, look up how the "Sterling Engine" works Sometimes much older technology can be cheaper and better to use than very expansive high-tech machines, especially for small operations. The Thais are already good at it, homemade tractors etc.

The only education anyone really needs is a financial education. People go to school\university to get an education…. to get a job…. to get money… and that’s where it ends. Unfortunately People don’t get financially educated what to do with the money.

@@NativeFarang Liver Pate and cured pork products should not be expensive to produce there. I'm surprised every British pub in Thailand does not serve a ploughman's lunch with pickled eggs. My latest idea is a BBQ grilled Thai marinated chopped pork sandwich. on a bun. Served with vegetable Tempura with Ranch Dressing dipping sauce. BTW Natt, did you know that it's easy to make Mozzarella cheese from boxed milk?
@NativeFarangАй бұрын
@@Dana-ie2bhCheese is very expensive in Thailand as they don't have dairy cows so most cheeses are imported. Some cured meats are cheaper than others 😊
@Dana-ie2bhАй бұрын
@@NativeFarang I should have clarified, the box milk I was referring to is that UHT stuff, which you can store at room temperature until opened. Which is not as cheap as in countries with more dairy cattle, it is much cheaper than the fresh milk produced there. You can also buy tinned sweetened condensed milk there that is cheaper than in the western world. They have dairy cattle farms in Thailand, the reason their products are expensive is because things like fresh milk have to be kept refrigerated from farm to store. UHT milk (Ultra High Temperature) pasteurization means you don't have to refrigerate it until opened.

Critical thinking is not solving algebra problems or memorizing the periodic table. Critical thinking is figuring out how to accomplish supplying Maslow's hierarchy of needs for you and your loved ones. Is there abundance for all? Sounds like an existential conundrum for Communists and Catholics. The Buddhist saying is, "Chop wood, carry water" however one chooses to intemperate that.

Do you know how American small farmers fatten up pigs for market Natt? Fatty pork belly is in demand all over most of Asia, Thailand consumes a lot of it. And this method is not something that most Thai farmers know, if any.

@@NativeFarang You get them drunk for a couple of wks. You make what are called slops with corn, the same way you would making a corn mash for making whiskey, before you run it through a still. Questions Why did you have to drive to Pattaya for Camilla's visa? Why could you not do this in Surin Province instead? Which road is the wine stall on? Location?
@NativeFarangАй бұрын
@@videogenie1236 We had already submitted the application there through our visa agent after numerous difficulties with other immigration offices. We were then required to take her passport there on that specific date for the stamp, this just so happened to be after we had moved from Bangkok, so nothing we could do about it but go there and get it done. From now on we'll be doing it in Surin now that we have moved and hopefully it'll be much easier now that the Non-O has been issued 😊

Why did you work so hard on this farm & then give up so quickly ? Genuine question, no hate it’s just last time I saw you, you were very invested in farming ? What are you doing now in Surin ? I agree with you about education except I doubt it will be affordable in 18 years, sadly.
@NativeFarangАй бұрын
@@nikkimclay5474 You've missed quite a large number of videos then. We've explained this so many times 😅 The farm was an experiment, to see if 1) we wanted to stay in Thailand permanently and 2) if the farm lifestyle was how we wanted to live. The answer to both of those is yes, however we cannot make a living, or enough of a living, from farming right now. So we're starting a business in the aim to save to buy our own land, build our own house and start farming again whilst also hopefully having a successful business. Surin is where I'm from and we've found a home that suits all of our needs and is very affordable. It's not about giving up, it's about experience and learning. There's so much more I could say but we've explained it enough, hope that helps 🙏
