10,000 baht for shipping to America is still a good deal. I mean... If I went to Thailand from America to buy that locally it would probably cost me time and about 70,000 baht in flights and accommodation etc.

Once again, thanks for sharing your life with us Nat and Camila plus girls. Everything that you sell is top quality stuff, so I can understand the cost of postage and packing. If people want quality stuff they have to pay premium prices. Lovely miniature rose that you got from that couple that you hand delivered to. Make sure that you keep it watered but not overwatered, and dead head regularly to keep it flowering. God bless you all 😀❤🙏

Wen I was selling to my clients, my profits were good that I sometimes offered free shipping using the UPS store's account and even back then for example a box that weighed 5kg would still be over $200usd. to a South African client. A package that weighed about 2kg to a client in Brasil who ordered every month would cost me over $120usd. and customs in Brasil is a pain which is why I always used the UPS store's account. I was checking shipping prices now and it is higher, but the items you are selling looks amazing and the people have bought or planning on buying should not complain about shipping cost which is out of your control. Aside from the business, it looks like another amazing day in paradise. Thank you for another great video and as always hugs to the family.

The price is fair considering everything is handmade and supports the Thai community, unlike mass-produced items from China. These products hold cultural significance. Thank you! By the way, what are your thoughts on Jeowbong?
@NativeFarang2 ай бұрын
Definitely! Keeping the local crafts going is important. And I'm not sure what Jeowbong is?

Hey, my friend and I stopped a couple nights in Surin. We stayed in an old convention hotel, Thong Tarin Hotel, that still had its striking interior in the lobby and restaurant area. The rooms on a couple floors have been renovated which was nice. It has a pool -decent place to stay (and the breakfast buffet was above most rural hotels. Great staff also. (not expensive) You must visit the 12th century Prasat Sikhoraphum khmer temple ruins- small but mostly intact. The local village takes care of the grounds. It makes a nice outing early morning. A "funky" local restaurant I discovered in Surin was "Starbeam Restaurant". The Thai woman runs this restaurant in her house. The menu is a variety of Tex-Mex, Western, and Thai. Every thing was delicious including the apple pie. So many hidden treasures found in these Isaan cities. The rose plant is in top condition. Good luck keeping it happy. (PS I hope that 2000+ baht electric bill included AC in a room. )

We've been meaning to check out that Starbeam restaurant, we'll definitely visit there soon! Haha yeah, we have the AC on a lot, plus tvs and things on charge etc for the kids, now we have hobs and an oven too, it adds up, but still pretty good 😊

Another thing anyone from some other countries need to know about and consider is the fumigation costs on arrival in their country This is mainly on wood or simerlar type products. A $20 vase in Bali cost me over $100 upon arrival in NZ

its funny how Australia and new Zealand are so strict in bringing in stuff while they decimated wild life themself as they destroyed 80% of the kauri forrest in new Zealand (within a hundred years) when they first arrived ..(rats, mouse,ferrets,rabbits,possums.)but you can not bring in your apple or banana...

Ahh we did think about that but they're a bit too heavy and bulky to ship! If we can figure out the shipping then it'll definitely be an idea 😊🙏
