You are so photogenic, Yvonne! You are a natural beautiful woman and I can say that without being forward and out of line because I am an 81 year old Oma. :) I was happy when you stayed as you were without letting down your hair and "as is" suits you so well! Amazing! The horses? Well they need extra work to look their best such as shaving whiskers and more, scrubbing, rinsing, blanketing and at the end hoof- and- body polish! Wow did mother and son look fine. Like they knew they were stars! How calm they were; even the baby. To own a Friesian is truly a treasure. I enjoyed the photo-shoot very much, thank you!

@@outoftime7740 If you watch the video where they shave the mares you would see them specifically mention they do not shave the whiskers on the muzzle. They called the long hairs on the horse's cheeks "whiskers" in that video. When I showed Arabians in the '70s all of the muzzle was shaved on all horses. It's good to hear that this practice has stopped nowadays.

@@outoftime7740 They're Dutch, so English isn't their native language. Sometimes little mistakes are made in the English subtitles. The correct Dutch word for whiskers is 'snorhaar', I believe. Facial hair on the side of the face (in humans) wound be a 'baakebaard' (cheekbeard). From the use of the word 'Oma', I'd also suspect, that the OP is either Dutch or German as well - so they wouldn't necessarily have caught the mistake, either.

How much fun was that. I loved watching but it did remind me of Christmas card pictures with the dogs and babies going all over. Beautiful Reintje and baby boy were so much better behaved than my crazy family photo shoots💜💜

Ah so this is everything it took to get those beautiful pictures of Princess Reintje & sweet Minze Teije a remote making horse sounds, a mini stuffed horse & some very patient ladies lol. 😂🐴Those photos of Minze by himself & you on Reintje’s back were flawless & lovely Senna is always a willing participant especially if yummy pellets are part of the deal, I love the image Rika got of her looking expectantly at Rinske so cute.🐶🥰 Reintje did a great job & she earned herself lots of pellets & Minze Teije got his milk both are such sweet beautiful horses, Reintje was incredibly patient & such a good sport. Minze was following mommy’s example he’s the cutest little fluff munchkin there is I always smile when I hear his little vocals.🌟💖💖🤩🦄🦄

Reintje’s named for the owner of all the horses, Rein (except Uniek & her foal next year, they’re Yvonne’s now) Minze Teije is named for Yvonne’s precious infant son Teije both boys were born just a few days apart which I think is very fitting.🥰💖

Yes, a calendar in time for Christmas or the New Year would be so great. There are companies that make them for you at not a great cost. I would buy one for certain. Great photo shoot. The pictures are lovely. Even Senna got in the shoot. I was trying to figure out what you were saying when you were trying to get Senna to sit. The word is pronounced "sit" in English. It sounded like you said "shit" which is a slang word, also used as a curse word for "poop" in English. That was so funny. Senna was looking around like what do I do? I thought maybe she understands English and thinks you want her to poop.😂
