As an 85 year old that grew up farming with a team of horses, the development and sophistication of the modern tractor is nothing short of amazing. I lived in Shelby MT during the 50-60s and immediately recognized the SWEETGRASS HILLS when I first saw your videos. Brought back lots of memories, knew many people from all over the county. Gone are the days of turn plows, disk harrows and row markers on the planter. Following those marks on the ground to keep your row spacing correct. When we were farming, we used a John Deere 494A (4 row/38 inch centers) planter. It got the job done but it wasn't fast doing it. Our only tractor was a 4020 John Deere. But we got the job done with what we had to work with. Thank you all for taking us with you on this adventure!!!

The great thing about this all is that CASE IH (and Steyr in Europe) listens to the needs of their customers. I have been driving Steyr for over 15 years now and the improvements they make are well thought-out and meets the demands of the customers. The new layout of the side arm a beauty. The Pro 1200 looks so easy to use. Can't wait til they are also available on the smaller tractor series like we use in Belgium. The CVX or CVT transmission is a masterpiece and a pleasure to drive. Other brand drivers are always amazed when they see how easy this transmission the power of the engine distrubeds to the ground. In those 15 years of driving we only had one major breakdown of the transmission and that was when we had 12000 operatinghours.

We express the same with 'No trespassing." We use the New Holland smarttrax on our fields, since it is the richest, blackest soil in New York. Never have been stuck. Although replacing the track, one time, middle-of-nowhere, was quite time-consuming. Love the ride quality & we cannot manage to get it stuck no matter the terrain. Keep-up the great work (videos)& exhaustive farming. Americans, love Farmers.

And so easy to use, you can program the lights on memory, set the headlands, use A/B lines or full field programs. I couldn't believe how easy it was, and it's all set up as you need it. You just press the button once you turn around at the end. You can change mid run. I was told the case system was a very difficult one to use. Its good that its easy now.

I have always had a soft spot for the steiger tractor. But this is way cool l loved the whole experience that you took me on through this film. The only wish l have is that these tractors were in the original Steiger green. They. Are a very cool tractor. The fact that it now let's the owner/ operator diagnose any potential problem on the farm through the dealer is a major plus as this reduces the downtime a and frustration that propriety rights can cause the owner. This is a major advantage in owning and running a tractor.

@@chadjustice8560 I watched it. That doesn't really prove anything either way,he is knocking deere more than anything in the video I saw. I have ran plenty of diff age and size deere and case tractors. Not a deere hater but not a fan really either. The main thing he said about case was something about throwing codes. Have not had any trouble with that, the 8360r I just got thru with this past week, it is off to 0lant.peanuts and I am in a diff 360 now but it was throwing fan speed too high, coolant level circuit fault, hydraulic filter restricted that was replaced few weeks back,my last few rounds before finishing with that tractor to take to barn and unhook it started throwing fuel pressure low, power derated or something like that which in the derated mode will still have the rpms but not the power and if you continue trying to work it will make it try to run hot on you but i brought it home and it is being seen about now hopefully.the fendt tractors I know nothing about. Think there are two dealers in my state and they are still hrs away so that anser that one right there.
