So we decided to do a real world endurance test of Renault Kiger Turbo CVT (X-tronic) as we drove it from Kota to Nalanda for 24 hours non-stop. Did it perform well and keep us in utmost comfort, we tell you in this special video.

In November 2023, I took the Kiger Turbo CVT on a power-packed journey with three passengers from Mumbai to Mysore, Ooty, and Kottayam, only driving during the day. This machine performed like a champ, maneuvering through city streets, highways, and the rugged Western Ghats without breaking a sweat. Cruise control on the highways was a game-changer. Driving this car was pure joy - no fatigue, plenty of space, and a fully loaded boot. Even in Kerala, we cruised through the Western Ghats, hitting spots like Wagamon and Kumily with ease. how are you getting so much mileage? I also own the Kiger Turbo CVT 2022 model, I drive in eco mode, my rating in the trip report is accelration (5 stars) and anticipation (4 stars), the avg i get is around 15 max, only in highway I get 18-19, but in city it revolves between 11.0 to 12.5kmpl. Any tips on how to improve mileage? do you use ac regularly, or just open the windows and drive?

@@marcusfenix5760 Your mileage figures seem to reflect city driving. Within the city, what you mentioned is correct. The mileage I mentioned is what I achieved overall on my trip. I used the cruise control function to maintain a speed of 70-80 mph, mostly on the highways, switching between ECO and Normal modes.

Its great story you guys have told through the car Kota To Nalanda👍🏻👍🏻 Mileage could have been more if driven on cruise control. It can easily touch 20 KMPL on the given road conditions with 3 people on board. I guess you guys have reved the engine like anything that too on sports mode. Its an amazing car with great driving dynamics.

@rtrjana6222 not much. 12-13 on Samruddhi where i was constantly cruising over 120+ for 450 kms. Then 17-19 kmpl on state highway and 14-15 once you enter city. I always drove with atleast 1 co passenger on board with luggage. Edit- AC was on throughout.

In Maharashtra, from personal experience, fuel pump operators ask to shut off the engine for safety reasons, both for two and 4 wheelers, so that did not happen with you at any of the pumps???

When you were talking about the NA and turbos, thats fine, but a turbo engine with CVT gearbox will literally kill it in short span of time. Turbos are better suited with DCT

A CVT will always be more cost-effective and reliable than any DCT. Turbo-CVT combo works absolutely fine for most people.

That’s because extracting fuel efficiency wasn’t the objective, the idea was to drive the vehicle on different terrains non-stop to check if there’s a drop in the engine performance.

See almost all cars can do 24hrs Non Stop driving, Its what you get from it matters for me. And I didn't learn anything from the video. It just felt like an long Ad which I really hate to watch.

I give you an easy answer.. cruse at 80km/hr will give you 16 to 18 max and if you cruse at 60 to 70km/hr then it's almost 19 to 20 max.. but yes it's not a city car.. because milage drops to.. 9 to 11 max

That is bound to happen when the engine is on for so many hours. The point is if the engine or the gearbox start acting weird, which didn’t happen. Also it didn't overheat even after driving for more than 24 hours.
