You can’t miss Singapore zoo, it’s the best open zoo in the world, no cages, the animals are happy and free and it’s a great outing for the whole family. The girls will love it.

I am glad you and your family had a good time in our country, Singapore. Lovely girls. Do keep them close to you in other countries. It is safe in Singapore but may not be so, elsewhere. Enjoy yourselves🎉🎀🌻🌹God bless🙏🕊😇☘

Loved this. Brought back so many memories from when I lived there on and off. Can’t wait to go back and even potentially live there again … but property prices and owning a car are both sky high, so we will have to see. You must go back there when you can guys. It’s not too far from your base in Penang after all!!

from Telok Ayer station to another direction, there's a 2 storey Amoy food centre..which I think most tourists don't know😁everyone just heads to Maxwell. Chinatown area has like 4 hawker centres. One is called Chinatown Complex which is the largest in Singapore.

Pro tip. From Bayfront mrt take the train to Marina Bay mrt and switch to TEL and take the train to Maxwell station. You don't need to walk from Telok Ayer to Maxwell in the heat.

B@@damlwt6657Actually visitors find our MRT prices affordable. All these transfers are considered as one trip price. It should be less than 2 SGD
@RahimRahmat9 сағат бұрын
@@damlwt6657 Not really. The whole transport system works on a distance-based fare system, and the distance is not that kind of far. The difference is probably like 20 cents per person (though I'll have to check on that info).

This would be a perfect country if someone had invented an outdoor weather machine to combat the sweltering summer heat

It’s interesting that you mentioned that. I lived there on and off a few years ago and the immediate contrast between air conditioned buildings and cars is really noticeable the moment you step outside. Saying that, I always felt very healthy in that climate. No idea why!

Kaya Toast is readily available in Penang too. It is called roti bakar in Malay. It is traditionally a breakfast dish, but it is available throughout the day.

Singapore is really tiny, you can literally travel on the train the entire day to visit almost every corner. A good 3-4 days stay would be good. Welcome to Singapore, the suburbs are where the real Singapore is. Town centers, zoos, parks, outdoors plenty to explore. Enjoy!

I hope you had a lovely time there. I do love Singapore but the problem is the expense. The MRT IS BRILLIANT though! So in that case I prefer Malaysia. Just love going back to Malaysia for the people, food and prices!
@culgan867 сағат бұрын
Expense if you compare to London, it's still way cheaper considering how you can find a wide price range for food If you into night life then that's too bad. Just head to any other neighbouring country for drinks and clubs

Singapore is a very expensive country. If multi-culturalism is your thing, Singapore ain't the only one in Asia because there are better options available. As for the people, I find them to be the most materialistic folks there are. Also, I find most of them to be lacking in warmth, friendliness and sincerity. Sorry to say this but it almost seems like they befriend you with a motive. They are very nice to you if you are a Caucasian but I won't say the same for non-Caucasian, as me non-Caucasian mates did not receive the same nice welcoming treatments from them when we were there..... several times.

Sorry to hear you have such bad experiences in Singapore. As a Singaporean, i also have my bad share of experiences with foreigners and Singaporeans alike. I think Malaysia and Thailand will be better places to visit for hospitality! Singapore is a really good place to work though, get medical treatment and shop in SEA for gadgets and good quality products.
@JH-kv8mt19 сағат бұрын
@ditsygirl5409 Hospitality means motive. Unlike Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand are not allowed professional forigners to get the work permit to make a living except for tourism and investment. And you are not Singaporean, you are Malaysian, we chatted before.
