I noticed a complete personally change in Webby and Debbie when you introduced Quackers. There was no being standoffish and getting to know each other like in most animals they immediately knew he was boss and started following him around. Animals are amazing

Amya Martin that's sad. Stock are harder to keep alive sometimes. Yeah you have to keep checking up on things. Sometimes they die anyhow. We just keep trying and you get better at taking care of them. Laura Ingals Wilder was a keeper of chickens later on in life and she noted that they died off pretty regular as there was always something going wrong. She wrote articles about it all and they were published in her day.

Wow Jake! I don’t think I have ever seen 3 ducks take to each other so fast! It was like long lost friends! Or love at first sight maybe!! I’m so happy you got Webby and Debbie out of their previous living conditions, and gave them a dream life on a beautiful farm with a new boyfriend to share!! All 3 look so happy to be together. I think that Debbie is such a pretty colour. Hopefully the girls aren’t the jealous type! It would be lovely if you were able to get some chicks from both girls, fathered by Quackers!! I’m sure they would all make beautiful baby ducklings. All 3 ducks looked infinitely happier the moment they all met one another. Very sweet to see. You can help teach the pigs how to get water by putting peanut butter on it. When they try to get the peanut butter it sets off the water and after a few more times they'll get it.😉 pigs are extremely food motivated.

Congratulations on the new ducks, they are beautiful (Webbie actually looks like a pretty nice quality runner, she has great upright posture). Also, about your white "Marans," I'm pretty positive that they are, in fact, actually leghorns. Yes, Marans can be either clean-legged or feather-legged, but regardless, Marans should have red earlobes and white skin/feet. Your birds have white earlobes and appear to have yellow skin/feet, which is exactly what leghorns have. Also, Marans should generally be bigger, heavier bodied birds than leghorns (though this can certainly vary), and your birds look rather lithe and slender, again like leghorns. They are still handsome boys regardless. :) Anyway, that's all for now. Good night, and God bless you!

I love the freedom these ducks have now. Quackers looked happy with his new friends. They all liked each other from the first moment. Do the duck's have water to drink for the night. They seemed very thirsty, when you let them out in the morning. Eating dry food and nothing to drink is probably not the right way to go. Your little guy is growing up so fast. Remember so well when he was just born. Look at him now, running around and meeting al kinds of farm animals. Your boys have such a great start in life growing up in this awsome place and so much love.
