With Ryzen booting issues, add this to your troubleshooting procedure; 1. Unplug the 4/8-pin and 24-pin cables from the motherboard. 2. Spam the power button on the PC for 20 seconds or so, pressing it over and over. 3. Plug everything back in and try it. This apparently dissipates some lingering corrupted data being held on the board due to some capacitors holding a charge. Pressing the power button with no power to the motherboard dissipates the caps and clears the data. That is speculation on my part, but all I know is that it works with booting issues on Ryzen, especially after swapping RAM. I spent over 2 hours troubleshooting a board with known good RAM all around that had this boot issue, and doing the steps above fixed it for every configuration. This has also fixed many boot issues I've run into since.
@MrNside4 жыл бұрын
This applies to all AM4 Ryzen generations, not sure about TR boards. It's an easy enough thing to try, I would try it before reseating a TR CPU though. This really did ease a huge potential headache for me and a friend's build, then made me seem like a wizard to other people when I suggested/did it for issues after I learned it.
@neondemon51374 жыл бұрын
Just hold the power button down, you don't need to press it like a whack a mole.
@MrNside4 жыл бұрын
@@neondemon5137 Perhaps. I will try it that way next time. This is rather common, but no official suggestions for these steps online though, which is kind-of weird. It's worked for all boot issues I've run into on Ryzen with HW that works in other systems. Even after clearing CMOS on that first system, the system wouldn't boot. But doing this trick, worked like a charm, and every time since. Thanks to the random guy on Reddit for giving me this tip.
@MrNside4 жыл бұрын
FYI I put this in my troubleshooting steps after checking/reseating RAM and GPU, but before swapping any hardware or testing other configurations. It's also worth noting that the error codes weren't consistent, which made it even more frustrating. The one error code that kept popping up on that first system was Storage. Which made no sense because I had disconnected the SSD and was still getting that code. On another system when I ran into the issue (swapping RAM and a GPU that time) the code on the board said it was a GPU issue, even though the GPU worked fine in the system I pulled it out of. IOW, for this boot issue, the codes don't seem to mean squat.

@tsunamidelta13514 жыл бұрын
Screws were available, they were used in many machine applications and on trains. By the time of RDR2 there were lathes and screw machines. The manufacturing ability of firearms production and other heavy industry is a major reason why the Union was able to overwhelm the Confederacy by wars end. However, Philips head screws were not yet around. So it's not entirely inaccurate. It would likely benefit from all the metal screws and strapping being made from brass. Now, I will say they likely wouldn't have used screws on a dynamite box.

jay I love it take your time I don't mind 5,6,7 or more parts. Lil idea for the metal Donning gloves and goggles to protect yourself from splashes, pour white vinegar into a plastic spray bottle, then generously spray the metal. Let the object air-dry in the sun (five minutes or longer depending on the size of the object). As it dries, the acid of the vinegar will begin to corrode the surface of the metal and you will start to see rust appear. next step Apply a solution of hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, and salt. Pour two cups of hydrogen peroxide, four tablespoons of white vinegar, and one-and-a-half teaspoons of table salt into a plastic spray bottle. Vigorously swirl the bottle to mix the contents. Once the salt has dissolved, spray the solution over the object to coat it partially or completely, depending on the desired effect. The peroxide should begin to bubble on contact with the metal, and rust will start forming immediately. Let the object air-dry in the sun for another five minutes or longer, depending on the size of the object. A single application of the solution should produce a subtle rusted patina on your metal. For a deeper and more distinct patina, though, repeat the application of this rusting solution up to four more times.

If you do a window either do old glass pane where it's dusty and what not or just do the wire mesh that you have on the other sides. Oh also make the back panel open like saloon doors.
