Please make a video about the right set for Christopher! This would be extremely interesting for all of us guys and girls lighter than 70 kg and not as tall I guess! Thanks for all the cool videos!

Is there really 20 kg between both you? With the same gear, that's clear it can't work for both 🙂

Djeez Christopher! You are co-owner of a surfshop, you haven't sailed in 5 months, you travel 1000+ km to a beautifull spot, you actually have an afternoon with excellent conditions, and then you WASTE it by taking out equipment that is obviously not suitable for you at all !? And Mario is standing there and lets it happen?! This is killing for your stoke-level and your progression and confidence, not to mention the long-term future of your motivation for your business. And credibility for giving advice to customers. Dump that GPS, forget about slalom-kit, take a freeride or freewave and at least 1m2 smaller sail and just have fun! You owe it to yourself!

@@MarioKuempel Ha! Sorry, l should have added a smiley or something. It just pains me to see Christopher missing out on what could have been a very nice session, leaving him wanting more and improving his level. I see it quite often on my homespot, advanced beginners moving on to slalom kit and focussing on top speed too soon. It effectively slows down their progress because they develop a defensive sailing-style, fighting the power instead of embracing it and playing with it. After 5 or 10 years they still can't do a proper carve gybe if the water isn't perfectly flat, or a fast tack on a small board. Many of them drop out of the sport, I think because they hit a plateau in development. Such a shame! With your channel you can have a big influence on the gear choices advanced beginners make, which in turn has a big effect on how they progress and how long they stay connected. But you know all this of course. Which is why I found it even more frustrating to see it happening. Otherwise, thanks for the cool video!
