Now that I think about it, Aokiji didn’t call his attack “Death Freeze” or anything, but “Ice Time Capsule”, which implies preserving something for the future; a rather fitting name. And it was so satisfying to see that the sacrifice of the scholars was not in vain and they managed to safe a big part of the history they helped to reconstruct. Nico Olvia staying behind is still one of the most emotional scenes in the series and I’m looking forward to a happy and tearful reunion of Robin and Saul.

I LOVE the idea that Robin and Luffy are siblings. That would make even more sense considering Robin always knows just how to speak to Luffy and understands his thought processes well. Luffy: That name sounds so familiar- Marco... Robin: He sorta looks like a pine-apple. Luffy: OH! THAT GUY!! Another scene where Luffy and Robin are collectively thinking of riding on top of Zoro and Usopp across the water because they can swim having no devil fruits. And then in more recent chapters where Robin understands so clearly how much Luffy can process at one time and withholds information so Luffy doesn't get overwhelmed. Very much so older sister vibes.

I think Oda officially stated that Robins father was an archaeologist from O’Hara like her mother, who went out to find more Ponegliffs and was killed by the marines, hence the line when Olvia is leaving about her husbands research being in vain or something. So maybe Dragon wasn’t Robins farher, but it would not surprise me if he did KNOW who her father was. Like maybe he is the reason Dragon learned about the Void Century in the first place.

I don't know about Dragon being Robins father because in chapter 393, before Nico Olivia (Robins mother) set out to search for the poneglyphs, she was speaking to robin as a child. While they were speaking, one of the crewmates yelled out "We'll take care of your husband UNFULFILLED WISH" encouraging her to stay with Robin. She denied and got ambushed in the search, and cuz of her CP-agency went after Ohara.

So an interesting thought on the whole Dragon's relation to Ohara idea. Both him and Vegapunk leave bouquets, the bouquet Vegapunk leaves contains basic spring and summer flowers, roses, carnations and daisies. But Dragon's bouquet contains white lilies, which are a flower used for mourning, especially someone you love like a family member or spouse. It could be nothing, but knowing that oda has the knowledge of the language of flowers it should be taken with more than a grain of salt.

When learning that the Ohara incident was at least one part of the main reasons why Dragon forged the Revolutionary Army, I now want to know if the next chapter(s) will be where we learn the full origin story of Luffy's father?! 2. If Luffy's group do learn about the origin story of the Revolutionary Army, will Bonney fully understand why Vegapunk did what he did to her father, even though I am not sure it will be enough for Bonney to pardon the scientist?! 3. Assuming we do get Dragon's backstory, does this mean we'll finally learn who Luffy's Mom is?! If so, who do think she will truly be or what she may look like?! to me, it might be feasible that luffy and robin might be siblings. they think very alike and yet contrary. robin often describes things with dark metaphors while luffy is the bright cheery guy. robin often knows exactly how to explain things to luffy and has this older-sister vibe going on. After reading that chapter, I’m pretty sure Vegapunk and Dragon knew each other for long time. In Franky’s venture to Vegapunk’s lab before, seems that the genius started to work for the government at very young age. But when D and V met at Ohara they are in 30s and 40s, that mean they’ve known each other for long time, and since V was already in WG for long, possible that D was also working in WG before. I bet he was in CP before. Coz if he was in Navy, I’m pretty sure some VA already known him. But seems they are oblivious of his existence and goal. I also like the idea that Robin could be his daughter. And I wonder how he got stumbled and made Luffy? He seems so focused and serious guy after the Ohara incident. I think the way Robun started acting towards Luffy after returning to the crew was pretty Self Aware of that fact she's Luffys eldest Half Sister. So she kind of came back giving off this protective Sibling Vibe and also I don't think she would directly tell Luffy until the Journey is finished. Just because she is probably abit worried if that Luffy finds out it might affect the way he Treats and interacts with Robin. The one part that Bugs me, knowing that Saul survived shows there is a chance others could of as well. I think Either Robin's Mom or Clover Survived but like Really Injured too the point were they're on Deaths door 24/7 and need medical watch. It would make sense to me that if Saul survived he's not just hiding for himself but hiding to protect another survivor that's with him and is also injured to the point they can't protect themselves.

Im doing a rewatch currently where I'm searching for connections and foreshadowing. I am a firm believer that the filler, arcs, and movies in part foreshadow the future of the story with clues and parallels (inversions). The Rainbow Mist filler has Henzo a part of the Pumpkin Pirates with their leader Rapa Nui. Henzo gets left out of the Rainbow Mist when Wetton attacks and the Pumpkin Pirates enter Apes Concert. Rapa Nui is later upset that Henzo joined Wetton (who destroyed their town). Henzo says he only did it to fund his research (as he was a scientist/inventor). Once of the Mist you come to find that Rapa Nui and gang became Marines. Rapa Nui's father was also a Marine. This I think may be a strong parallel/inversion to foreshadow this current relationship and supports the Dragon was a marine (admiral) theory. Dragon a former marine (Rapa Nui former pirate) becomes a Pirate/Revolutionary (Rapa Nui becomes Marine to revolutionize it) Dragons friend/acquaintance Vegapunk (Henzo) joins the people he knows is bad (Marines/Wetton) in order to fund their research. Some stretches that are interesting: Rapa Nui means Easter Island. Easter Island has quite a bit of connections to the story of One Piece but the three I want to highlight are: 1- The civilization was wiped out 2- They did heavy deforestation and its said there are no trees on the island (as Ohara has none now) 3- There was a medicine there that was said to prolong ones life substantially called Rapamycin (People speculated fountain of youth and the concept of Immortality is a constant in OP) One thing I stumbled upon in this research of the Filler led me to something crazy that I dont even understand so I'll need to take more time with it. However, I do want to stop here and say that alot of connections that spawn from One Piece are Oda's genius and others are mere coincidence because the things Oda uses for inspiration were inspired from other things aswell and its like a huge game of telephone. If you look at the old civilizations alot of them share common themes. Such things are Dragons being the origin beast for nearly every other large mythical animal, Worship of the Sun, Stars, and Moon; and an ancient Giant race that plundered civilizations by sea. So, some things we discover are just happy duds or Jim Carey in 23. Now in the Rainbow Mist Filler the antagonist was Wetton. His sons were Lake and Flip. Those names alone can seem to speak to the One Piece world being full of water or have gotten wet and Oda's love for inversion to Flip everything and for the resting place of something to be in a Lake. However, the real gems here is that I believe these names were inspired by the band King Crimson (Asia). The names are those of band members and their entire track/album listing is pretty suspicious and mindblowing in relation to One Piece. However, the album that first got my attention is "In The Wake of Poseidon". In it are three tracks that reference Peace and one track that is titled The Devils Triangle. I previously had no interest in ever listening to this band as I never even knew they existed. I may not even like them. However, for some brief research I'm going to give them a go and see what the content of this album is. Best case scenario I find some more clues. Worst case, maybe I end up finding a dope band and some new music to listen to *shrug*

Robin being related to Luffy has been a theory for a while. I find this theory especially interesting after having played One Piece World Seeker. I know the story of the game isn’t cannon but the fact that Jeanne (the main ally of the game) says on two occasions that Robin and Luffy seem similar, really has me thinking how they could be related. I wonder if it's through the Monkey side of the family or Luffy's mother side. On the other hand Oda can always surprise us, who knows maybe Robin had Luffy's kid during the timeskip. Garp was a wild child, so maybe the Monkey D men are lousy fathers but loving grandfathers.

As we saw, Blackbeard is going to collect poneglyph knowledge from other pirates which is the easy way. So, letting other pirates take the information of last poneglyph is also a danger for Shanks.

I swear to god someone on reddit had the theory some weeks/month ago about saul being alive, me and a friend of mine discussed all that for hours and figured that the books in the sea look still usable in the backstory in enies lobby and how it could make sense that he is alive. Because aokiji used ice age capusle first, before he used ice age. And we were like maybe he really is alive. I couldn't see anyyyy theory's besides the Reddit one anywhere. I think there will come a point in this arc where someone in the crew asks the original Vegapunk about the name of the ancient kingdom but he'll be killed before he can say it in the same way Dr. Clover was killed before he could say it. Also, if this did happen, it would be a good way to reignite the Luffy vs Lucci rematch. It would also make sense if Lucci was the one who came out of nowhere killing Vegapunk before he can speak. All of this could then lead into the Strawhats escaping to Elbaf, possibly with some of the Punks and Bonney, while the remaining Punks, like Lilith and Shaka, hold their own against CP0 with the Jinbe Seraphim and defend Egghead island from being destroyed. This arc could be a parallel to Ohara if we think about the fact that even if the island does end up getting destroyed, the knowledge that was held there is still living on. So, in the way Ohara saved its knowledge through protecting the books, Vegapunk was able to save his knowledge through the Punks that escaped with the Strawhats.

​@@SonGoku-uv4pk CP0's main goal of going to Egghead is to eliminate "Vegapunk" which means the original one and his six Punks. It seems pretty clear, at least visually, that not all the Punks are going to be the best at fighting though Lilith and Shaka do seem like they would be able to handle themselves to a certain degree. This then leaves the other Punks in the hands of the Strawhats and the Strawhats have no reason to stay behind and fight if they are given the opportunity to save at least some of the Punks from CP0. Also, I'd assume that Shaka being Punk 01 would urge that the other Punks prioritize them surviving by any means necessary. This is because any knowledge that the original Vegapunk had would not die with him but rather it would cease to exist if them as the six Punks died. So, if Vegapunk did die, I think Luffy would prioritize the safety of the Punks even if it meant he would have to escape from Lucci.

The next arc of One Piece is Vira. Oda is going to the islands we haven't visited in a reverse order from when he talked about them to throw us off and surprise us. First he talked about Elbaf in Little Garden, then Vira in Jaya then Eggland in Dressrosa so that means firt Eggland, then Vira and finally Elbaf. Vira will focus on Nami and Brooke. Vira is an island that screams Straw Hats and Revolutionaries.

The Tesla Tower appears to have ancient Egyptian roots as archeologists are discovering. There are soil patches in the Amazon that are "self resyoring" as in they do not require crop rotation to maintain their effectiveness for crop planting. So much lost human history and Oda is clearly of fan of this lost history and the imagining of what could have happened to them. The Library of Alexandria, along with its collection of human achievements was torched to the ground by the Church as they argued the only book needed is the Bible

Always suspected that Dragon had been a Marine or Cipher Pool (since Garp would have pressured him to it, and since Akainu seemed to have a certain grudge against him at Marineford for some reason). And I also suspected that he was involved with Vegapunk (because of Kuma's connection and because the scientist knows a lot of forbidden stuff, and therefore he is a major threat to the government that has to be eliminated or controlled). It would definitely suit him to collaborate with Dragon, which would definitely grant him in the event of his victory a freedom of experimentation and speech that he would definitely never get from the Tenyrubito.

This makes sense. The World government became more strict about the Void Century AFTER Roger found the One Piece. They became scared as before they had become overconfident after no one finding it for 800 years. That explains why Clover only got arrested ten times instead of being killed.
