But looking at the small deviations from the timeline like any of the crewmembers not hopping on or changing their destination, all of it ended with Ace getting killed because Luffy wasn't strong enough and that was a turning point(cannon event) for Luffy that he needs to train to be strong enough to save his friends or family. If he didn't realise that untill maybe wano or egghead that would've been too late

I always thought it was kind of weird how kid had 15 million more berries on his bounty than luffy. Like luffy takes down a warlord, takes down enies lobby and cp9 with it, and he takes down a whole list of pirates with a bounty like foxy, Bellamy, and all of the baroque works agents. He also took down 3 powerful pirates in the east blue which are buggy, Don Krieg, and Arlong. But kid killed a lot civilians so he deserves a higher bounty than luffy.

I think your mistaken, as to what would have happened in thriller bark. Remember the Marines knew he was going to be there. So theres a good chance they would have awaited for him with a much bigger force. Not to mentioned Kuma would have been ordered to step in earlier. Which means he may have had to saved them earlier on, maybe sending them somewhere safe. Also lets not forget if Dragon helped Luffy against Smoker, I'm sure if he was Luffys bounty was insanely high, then he would also have stepped in to help.

I think shanks seriously might just knock luffy out as soon as he gets there and have his crew take luffy off the island while he stays and saves ace. he'd probably have Beckmann stay with him though and mihawk would probably help them. then when the war is getting broadcast and its 3 yonko and the world government the big mom pirates would probably rush over too if they saw it in time. either way, with a fight involving kaido, whitebeard Garp and Sengoku marineford is getting completely leveled. shanks, mihawk and Beckmann all teaming up are pretty much unstoppable so ace will be getting saved. like even if aokiji, kizaru, and akainu fought them they'd stand no chance. I'm guessing Kaido won't even care who he fights, just whoever's closest. assuming he fight's whitebeard they're probably both gonna get folded by the marines and shanks, mihawk, and beckmann would have to fight a lot more top tiers that would otherwise be busy with whitebeard and kaido. however if kaido chooses to fight against the marines after realizing whitebeard was weak you'd have a situation that's kaido vs sengoku, whitebeard vs garp, shanks vs akainu, beckmann vs kizaru, mihawk vs aokiji, then marco would likely go to save ace and king and the rest of whitebeards crew would take on vice admirals. the marine hq ends up getting leveled completely and if blackbeard still shows up or maybe even the big mom pirates came then theres no more navy left. it would turn into a fight between the five elders and imu sama vs like every top tier in the story and the warlords would all probably betray the navy. blackbeard would probably use this chance to destroy like impel down completely or just level some other navy island. revolutionary army will also definitely come in when they see a chance to destroy the government. like theres just no way the government survives all these threats even with the elders and imu sama helping out. and even outside of marineford every other crew just rampages and the government can't do anything about it
