Looks like fun in the sun with the niece. Mine is 19 now but I have all the memories of her first fish and all the good time a we had fishing. Great uneventful video. I can’t wait to see all the action from recently. Ive been hearing the talk from people, but ain’t been myself 😂

You guys are witnessing the best fisherman on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Someone needs to get him in contact with NBC sports, ESPN, or maybe even Steven Rinella. He deserves his own professional fishing show.

Scarlet. Precious. You are creating life-long memories. Long after you have left planet earth- she will remember. Today in Minnesota I took my 5 year and 8 year old grandsons fishing on my pontoon boat. All the fishing trips around the continent could never compare. You and I are blessed!

I may be moving to your side of the bay, and if things work out… We may need to fish a few times! It would be fun! Just sayin’. Love the family fun….

I’ve got that same Calcutta spooled with 20lb braid. Do you think it’s imperative that you back the spool with tape or mono to prevent slippage? I don’t think I’ve had any problems in the past with straight braid.
@CaptCollier3 ай бұрын
@@chrismiller127 I’m really not sure. I’ve always put mono backing on my setups just to save on braid because I re-spool every other year and half the time I never get close to using atleast 50-75 yds of the braid near the spool
@chrismiller1273 ай бұрын
Okay gotcha. It sounds like the spool won’t slip unless you get spooled by a big fish like a jack or something which I don’t normally
