Nothing is better then cozying up on a cold day and watching an episode of coasten true Europe! This episode is perfect for that
@MartinHalldinАй бұрын
Worth mentioning that this park is (to us Swedes anyway) most famous as a water park. Like during the summer you go there for the pools and slides. But it's really cozy and a great family trip kind of park overall!

As theme park crazy said: "If you combined an Arrow suspended coaster with a B&M wing coaster, you'd get this bizarre creation".

I more liken it to a tamer axis coaster- same concept but without the rider inverting.

Taylor, I’m so proud of you. I’m so happy for the great success of your channel. I started watching you in my 20’s from the very beginning of your channel when you started the 5 year plans! Now I’m 32 and love the channel even more. Your college degree is paying off greatly. The RMC documentary is the best I’ve ever watched. To Sarah. I know you’re both in a relationship. But you coming to the channel has only made it better. I hate how much people hate on you on twitter. It’s disgusting. Thank you for what you’ve done for this channel. My wife is no skinny person but I love her for her. Never shame yourself about your body and don’t let people shame you. You’re a perfect woman. Taylor is lucky to have you. Just know you have many people behind your back and I support your movement on woman body positivity. Here is to more years and more success of this channel. Also I was very skinny and I’ve gained a lot of weight in the 14 years we’ve been together. I have 2 kids now also. I have thought about killing myslef because of being making fun of my weight including my family. Sarah you make me feel good about myself. I used to fit on roller coasters. Now I struggle. I’m on a diet now to get back where I was. Thank you for being you and being positive of heavier people.

Really? Twitter is a cess pool of hate. Glad I'm not on it.Sarah is a beautiful lady, and, as we say in the UK, Taylor is clearly "punching."

The hotel is themed to a ship that sailed the seas and collected different items from different continents. Gothenburg was a large trade port in 1700’s and therefore it’s themed to a hypothetical ship from that time!
@CoasterStudiosАй бұрын
Ahhh okay! Cool! I like that.
@MerimaTropojaАй бұрын
It was a real sailing ship named Götheborg that launched in 1738 and sank in 1745. In 1995, they began building a replica of the Götheborg, which was launched in 2003. The ship has inspired the story of the fictional couple Agnes and Mr. Daler. Agnes and Mr. Daler lived in Gothenburg in the 18th century. Agnes, from a wealthy family, was adventurous and traveled the world thanks to Mr. Daler's contacts within the Swedish East India Company. Instead of business opportunities, Agnes brought home remarkable and magical experiences from her travels. Her collections of curiosities and fascinating stories filled their home, which had to be expanded several times. This collection now forms the foundation of the Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel, where visitors can experience the same curiosity and sense of adventure.

I don’t know why but I really love when you two visit these small family parks, mostly because I’ve hardly heard of any of them. Plus, I wanna meet the crazy person who came up with the design for Tranan, that thing looks sick. Great video Coaster Studios!
@ClothoidLooperАй бұрын
I’m so glad y’all got to check out the Grand Curiosa!! It was by far my favorite hotel of Coaster Crew’s Europe trip last year! Such a fun whimsical theme! I think each floor has a different theme if I remember right, but it was a big part of Liseberg becoming a top 5 park for me. A phenomenal park with an incredible team behind it. :)

4:59 So dope how the arms holding the seats actually have shocks. You can see them bear some of the load during the roll over transition.

@Kian0616Ай бұрын
You have one park left in the Parks and Resorts family, it’s Furuvik. Furuvik has an amusement park, a zoo, a water park, and a hotel. The flagship attraction is Lightning, the same model as Big Bear Mountain.

It looks like a neat little place. Just another Summerland with some unusual rides. Actually gives me very similar vibes to how Danish Summerlands were. Djurs and Fårup were a lot more like Skara back in the day. And others like Sommerland Sjælland and the abandoned Sommerland Syd also have a lot of similarities. Overall just a good family park with a great waterpark built in, one of the best in all of Scandinavia. Its a shame that Taylor never got to go on Snake since that looks sick. It actually spent a single season at Gröna Lund 5 years ago after which it just got relocated to Skara. They did have one roller coaster that was more thrilling in the past though. In the 1990's they had an Intamin Stand up coaster! It didnt last long at the park though and after that it actually went to La Ronde. So La Rondes old stand up coaster, Cobra, used to be right here in this Swedish park. I will say if they were to add a new coaster, I could see something like a Gravity group woodie being a good fit. Or just a wooden coaster in general, around that 50-80ft range in height. Y'know something like Bobcat. They could go a completely different direction with an Intamin Hot Racer or a Gerstlauer Eurofighter, those kinds of rides would also be good fits. Also just a lil thing but the owners of this, Parks & Resorts Scandinavia, also owns another park. Furuvik, which is further northeast in Gävle. Its mainly a zoo but it does have some coasters. It used to have a Schwarzkopf jet star 2 but theyve put that up for sale. In its place they've built 2 Vekoma coasters. One Family boomerang and one Family launch coaster (basically a smaller Big Bear Mountain). I know you'll probably never make your way there but just mentioning it as its still a bit of a neat place. Though Skara would've been a good home for that Jet Star 2. Though if you happen to have 400k Euros at hand anyone can buy it, thats the sales price.

Oh man, you guys need to stay on-site more often, I always do-Phantasialand’s hotels and Europa’s hotels are awesome
@jpettersson84Ай бұрын
I've worked two summers at that water-ski ride. It's actually an old ski lift that someone repurposed like 40 years ago. So many guests wiped out in the first turn, and some even hurt themselves pretty badly. Pretty crazy that it's still around. 😂
