From my understanding, it's about the abuse she faced from her mother whilst she was an actress, it recounts how her mother forced her into an acting career and controlled almost every aspect of her life. For anyone interested. Skin walkers are a Navajo legend about shamans that turn bad and use animal pelts to shapeshift into twisted and slightly wrong versions of that animal. In Navajo traditions they are not allowed to use most animal pelts because of this.

the thing about "uploading" your consciousness that i always found funny is that people who say that don't know how transferring data works, you essentially make a clone of yourself and then the original data gets deleted... though i wonder what would happen if you slowly replaced parts of your brain with a robot brain until it's 100% a robot brain, would there then be a point where you stop experiencing being you?

My solution to this problem is, as long as you didn’t recreate the whole brain in a jar and implant it into another person, the robot brain would then be the original. But you would technically not be the original original you anymore, just the only you in existence.

I've had that same thought, I'd imagine that so long as the important part of neurons are only the synapses between them, and they don't have some secret information storage, then yes you could likely slowly replace small amounts of neurons with robotic ones. It'd probably work somewhat like the ship of theseus if you do it slow enough.

42:39 it might be the smell of death? there’s a city near me that’s known for their production of chickens, and if you’re in specific parts of the city closest to the chicken processing plants, the air reeks of dead chickens. not just chicken shit, which is definitely part of it, but dead/dying chicken. I’ve never smelled dead cow or Nebraska, but if you’re passing slaughterhouses, you’re probably smelling the death.

@@jest3rr_ of course you can talk about them, it's just our mythology, like how Greeks have gorgons and titans, or the Norse has their gods and giants, native Americans have wendigos, skin walkers, the thunderbird, and more, it's not seen as disrespectful, as long as you aren't making fun of it, and personally it doesn't bother me, but the deer skull wendigos aren't actual wendigos, I think it's a cool concept but they would be more like the wendigos from until dawn, people who are possessed by a cannibalistic spirit, but maybe for some tribes, wendigos are the deer skull ones, a lot of stuff is different from tribe to tribe, also you don't need to censor wendigo, it's verbal usage that matters supposedly
