See, this is what I mean by your content being stellar. You get lifestyle, fashion, makeup, business and financial advice that is based on your own personal experience and knowledge…AND…you are are completely relatable and down to earth, and don’t come across as a “persona/character”. Stay blessed Sis!

Protein and lifting weights are key to losing weight once you reach a certain age. Food is also key. Your tummy looks GOODT for having a c section!! We have the same goal weight, and I'm 5'3--I have 10 more lbs to go, and I plan on getting lipo next year! I want this tummy sucked OUT because that is where my weight goes and I HATE that for me.

To offer another perspective, having two kids does not guarantee a shared “burden” speaking from experience! In case that gives some peace of mind with only having one child. Now my grandma had like 12 of them thangs, and the scenario was a shared burden even if it was just 5/12 😊 Lastly, career wise you are living my dream. Not that I dream of labor 🙄 lol but younger Bre wanted to be exactly this. A successful career woman with side this and side that and volunteering with young girls. So far I just have the successful career 😐 keep going, it’s so inspiring to see!

Hey girl. Just putting it out there that having a second child/sibling doesn’t guarantee to reduce the burden of losing a parent or taking care of an older parent. Oftentimes that falls on one (the most responsible) child regardless. If you actually *want* a second child cause you always envisioned having two & your family doesn’t feel complete with one then it’ll be a “nice to have” if it works out where they both jump in to help, are there for each other etc.

Your no-makeup look is very much more than mine but it's such a pretty finished product. Having a baby.... at 37, I am still flipping the coin on whether motherhood is what I want only because, in my present state, it won't look how I want it to look. I'm not married, yet and I never wanted to do the single-parent thing as I've witnessed the struggles my mother has had. I completely understand your hesitation about baby #2. Something like that would scare me into not trusting my body to do what it was made to do. Your son is such a sweet little person though. I always get baby fever when he comes on the vlog. Your book club is awe-inspiring. I always want to join a solid book club that actually meets to discuss the books. I admire the community you've built. As an adult who works from home, building community from my interests is hard. How do I assemble a community that loves various food experiences and staying home? 😆 but for real, making friends over 30 with no kids is hard.

Love all the things, from the no makeup look, to the chit chat. I do understand the point of not wanting Alexander to go through the feels of family life alone because that can take a toll on one’s mental and physical health. I actuary like see the book club content; I like seeing females have a positive experience. Your content is top tier. I actually miss being in Alabama. 😊

I love these talks, which attracted me to your channel years ago - Business/Financial stuff (while pregnant with Alexander)😍. Please do something on tools/tips for multiphasic entrepreneurs, like yourself and Mr. William. Congrats on so much and sorry for your loss. I am excited to see the future of your channel and business ventures. Your book suggestions have been great, esp The Miracle Morning. I am not in the office anymore and rely on witty channels like yours for the latest inspiration and happenings. Much love 💗

Once again you are talking to me about the weight loss because I’ve been going through the same thing myself and mine is a bit more harder since I’m in perimenopause. I have a friend that is a trainer and he told me the same thing about adding more protein to my diet to help me in my weight management journey. It’s good to hear it from you because it serves as reinforcement on my journey. ❤

You’re awesome! ❤ And baby, as a Bham native, every time you *mention* Bham I just get so excited! I’m up in Huntsville, so I guess I can’t join the book club ventures, but just know I’m sooo proud of you and love your content. Also…agree on the not quitting your job. Don’t follow these crazy folks that act like social media can’t cut you off at the drop of a dime. Stick with that career, chile. Too many people have become “destitute” messing around with these platforms that change their minds. 🙄 Agree that you can do BOTH! (Although motherhood S. T. R. E. T. C. H. E. S. you so your perspective may change a bit with baby #2.) Keep being great! ❤

You are truly inspiring. That said, strength training/weight lifting has truly been a game changer in my weight loss journey as well. I'm currently 20 lbs heavier than when I started college 30 years ago, yet 2 clothing sizes smaller. Weight training always intimidated me but I've been training for about 3 yrs now and love it. Also, I agree that if you can , get a dietician, trainer, food prepper. ..whatever you need. Thank you for being an inspiration!

Hey Alicia, I just watched your video about your fear of having a second child due to your previous C-section experience. I want to assure you that I understand where you're coming from-I too had a C-section with my first child due to meconium, which can be incredibly scary. I was rushed into emergency surgery because of the situation. But despite the initial fear, I went on to have two more children, and everything turned out just fine. Every pregnancy is different, and while challenges may arise, you've already shown incredible strength. Remember to trust yourself, listen to your body, and follow your doctor's guidance. You've got this! Going through it a second time will require faith, but facing it in fear will only make it harder. Take your time to process, pray over it, and have faith in God and the journey ahead. You're stronger than you know❤

I totally understand everything you’re feeling about baby #2. I too had an emergency cesarean. I was scared to even have baby thoughts … for 5 years! Eventually I gave it another go but it was certainly on MY time with the doctor I trusted. My son kept asking for us to make him a brother. Thank God round two wasn’t a girl (lol). My husband is now begging for another…That is not happening! 😊 Be ready when you are. 🙏🏾

Hey, so I have a book club. I started it 13 years ago with twelve women.our name is The Great Literacy Divas. I love it and have read over 150 books together! We have fundraised and gave scholarships to our seniors at my local high school. Thank you for discussing your fitness journey. Everything you said confirmed what my trainer said. Girl that 100gms of protein is so hard to do daily. Do, you have a good protein bar you like to eat?. Thanks again and Happy Reading.

Think protein bars, Ratio yogurt, and jerkey! I keep these 3 in my house and when I travel, I always try to have these travel with me As far as meals, I still keep our normal meals but find ways to incorporate more protein. I use barilla + protein pasta instead of the usual. Switch our normal taco shells for low carb high protein ones. It takes a little time but it definitely worth it
