Another hot mic! These are the moments I live for. In todays Boston Bruins vs Florida Panthers NHL playoff game, TNT broadcasted ANOTHER hilarious hot mic from this series after the referee turned on his mic early. We saw the one from earlier in this series that was incredible and while todays wasn't as extensive, what was hilarious about this one was that the entire arena heard the ref say "Don't fu**ing test me". So good. As for the game, it was a beauty. The big story line coming into it, was that Montgomery was starting Jeremy Swaymen and deciding to sit this years sure bet Vezina trophy winner in Ullmark. After a slow start, it looked like the Bruins would hold on to win but boy or boy did it get interesting in the end as this one went to overtime! I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

@@gchaul6225 Football is a joke of a sport. The game has, on average, 11 minutes of actual play, with the rest of the game being a running clock. So, basically, each player (offense and defense) plays about 5 and a half minutes PER WEEK hahaha. AND... those 5 and a half minutes they play are made up of 15-second increments over the course of 3 hours. Not to mention, it's a super soft sport by nature: someone gets hit, and it's, "Stop the play! Stop the play! Someone got hit... time to stop the game and reset the play!"

I don't know if this counts as a hot mic moment, but this ref's hot mic moment reminded me of the one from the New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils game. The ref called a penalty and said, "Sit down!" I don't know who to, though. Also, at 3:20, seeing the Panthers' goalie bouncing up and down like that just made my day.

As a Bruins fan I am blown away! I take 2 things from this, first the coach is way over his head. He played his aging core all season and at the very least 3 of the top players got injured in the last 4 games. The second point is more of the same so fuck!! Good luck Panthers I have nothing else.

I'm so incredibly happy that Boston went down. I hope it's humbling. I feel bad for the guys that don't already have a ring but I'm very happy for the 4 ex-flyers that have a chance to get closer to a cup than they wouldn't have if they were still in Philly. I'm not a bolts fan but was bummed to see that Elliott will never get to hoist the cup. He's a great guy and deserves it. I was also hoping to see a royal series in the west. Kings/knights would've been pretty cool and I was excited to see how they would've promoted the series. Maybe next year. I wouldn't mind seeing the rangers get it.

@@user-dy4kd7ti8c I don't usually predict outcomes, because it's difficult to do in the playoffs, as your post proves. Assuming any team takes them out at all, my best guess is VGK. And I think the factors in that series are 1, can VGK shut down Draisaitl/McDavid (especially on PP), and 2. VGK defense/goaltending. If they don't succeed, then I think the Oilers have everything clicking well enough to take it all. If the Oilers face either Seattle or Dallas in WCF, I like the Oilers to win the conference, if they can stymie the tenacity of Seattle. I don't see Dallas as much of an overwhelming threat. But neither did Bruins fans see the Panthers as such, either, right? In possible Cup finals scenarios, that's where it gets too tough for me to call, and too soon, until the NYR/NJD series is decided. Personally, I'd like to see the Oilers vs the Rangers or the Leafs, only because I'm a Blues fan, and there are recent former Blues stars on those teams.

Did anyone really think this Bruins team was the best team(win wise) in history? I sure didn't. None of the players on the team will go down in history as some of the greatest players. Maybe Pastanak has a chance if he can keep scoring as this pace. Bergeron while great 2 way player will not be remembered as one of the greatest players ever. The goalies are average and always have been, the have benefited from a good all around team in front of them. But I never really thought this team was as good as their record showed.

So you're uninformed. This isn't uncommon in playoffs and it gives locals a chance to buy tickets before the tickets go on sale to everybody. The only people who should be upset are super rich Canadians who can afford to drop work, fly to FL from Canada, then spend money on a place to stay, a rentable car, etc. and at least 500 for the tickets. Are you really upset on their behalf? I think they'll be fine waiting a day or two to buy their tickets or they'll be fine watching from home while little Timmy gets to see the team he's been cheering for all year in the playoffs in person.

You likely haver played nor reffed the game...real hockey fans (most whom have not played or reffed but ,just understand sport), understand more about on ice dynamics than you ever will. I played rep hockey in Canada into my teens followed by college hockey...I was a CAHA Ref for 10 years...this is how it is...and believe me players appreciate and respect refs and linesman more than your limited understanding of the game shows. By the time a player has reached the NHL, he has played 1000's of games at a highly competitive level...and they know that Refs and linesman have done the same...they know how hard that job is and what it takes to get to that level. In my days of growing up playing and watching hockey...No players fucked with Refs like Bruce Hood, Wally Harris, Neil Armstrong, Brian Lewis, Bill McCreary...nor linesman like Matt Pavelich, Ray Scapinello, Leon Stickle, Swede Knox or especially John D'Amico...these and many others are friggin Hall of Famers, right alongside the Players they shared the ice with...I would love to have had hot mics from that era. You my friend know nothing about this game!
